In New Jersey, there have been 2 cases of H5N1 (Avian Flu) in cats. Please don't feed a raw diet, unpasteurized dairy products, or undercooked poultry or meats to any pets. Keep cats indoors to prevent exposure to birds and other wildlife. Symptoms are lethargy, respiratory distress, tremors, seizures, or blindness.

The licensing year in Ridgewood is June to June for dogs and January to January for cats, but dogs and cats should always keep vaccines current.
