This is Rocky, our singleton puppy from Cala & Onyx. Even though it was disappointing to only have one, we couldn’t have dreamed up a more stunning puppy! 🤩

After deliberating, we’ve decided to make him AVAILABLE. He is currently four weeks old and we expect him to end up around 20 lbs, the size of both parents. He has a wonderful temperament and the perfect F2 multi-gen coat. Not to mention his beautiful phantom blue merle coloring and blue eyes.

Sweet Jilly-bean is still looking for her family! She’s a mini/medium F1b aussiedoodle estimated to be about 30 lbs. She’s outgoing just like her mom and a cuddler like her dad! She’s smart and catching on quickly to routines with crate and potty training. She’s curious, playful, and well socialized. If you’re interested, please don’t hesitate to reach out! She’s our last pup of the year!

Jack made it to his new home which leaves Jill (right) as our LAST puppy! These two have been incredible, just as we expected from Ember and Orrie. And while we wish there had been more in the litter for that reason, it’s been nice to enjoy just the two of them on a less chaotic scale 😅

Jill will be much bigger/more medium sized than our last litter, around 25-30 lbs full grown. She’s our sweet little shadow who’s already picking up on potty training and crate training.

We still have two little f1b toys left, Hamer and Rigby, who are as sweet as can be! Very people oriented and moderate play drive. Both of these boys would be great for first time dog/puppy owners. a great morning to get out in the garden 🌿 Part of socializing our puppies is getting them out of their comfort zones and introducing new experiences. Big leaves from my overgrown pumpkin plants make a great place for puppies to explore with different textures, sounds and places to hide. Having a puppy application, evaluating future families, and waiting until the puppies are older to make sure their personalities fit well are an important part of our program. We have helped many families find the right fit by doing this and we minimize puppies needing to be re-homed because of a bad fit. Two newest and cutest faces around here. One day they’ll make some some stunning pups together! 🤞🏻🤩

We plan our breedings out months in advance. For months leading up to the big day we stay up late at night discussing possible color outcomes, temperaments we hope to see in the litter, goals and dreams for our breeding program and when we get closer to the due date we catch up on whelping/puppy raising education to keep it fresh in our minds for the big day. We stay up night after night the week of her due date in the same room as our girl to make sure we are there to assist when she goes into labor as these things tend to happen in the middle of the night. Once the puppies arrive safe we can breath a big sigh of relief but the work isn’t done there. So many hours are put into raising a litter and by the end we are exhausted and we always say to ourselves “why do we put ourselves through this stress?” But then those cute puppies leave and soon after their new owners catch us up on how well they are doing. We slowly start to miss them and remember why we started this business in the first place. Call us crazy but we miss having puppies! Though they are so much work, it is also a lot of fun and so rewarding to see so many lives enriched by the puppies we work hard to produce make every moment we have with them worth it. 2 weeks -> 8 weeks old. It’s so crazy how fast they grow and I can’t wait to do it all over again!
