A little visit with our mules and horses last night!! Saw lots of momma and baby elk and ended with this beautiful rainstorm. Hells Canyon Outfitters

We love where we live and we love our dogs. One on one time with each of the dogs is important. They enjoy leaving the pack and adventuring!!! Carter June went to help salt horses and play some fetch in the mountains last night. We had a blast!

Wow!! These pictures bring tears! Stella is still doing great but an old dog that loves to sleep under the table!!! I love seeing these photos of her younger days!!! Happy 9th Birthday to the 2015 litter!!

Update: I love our golden family. ❤️ He found a great home with one of his brothers. 🐾

have a beautiful six month old boy looking for a family. His original family did not work out. He is a sweet boy.
Here are some details.
Maverick update
Milestones met
-Walking on leash
-sit and stay
-no longer nervous about car rides
-not actively jumping meeting children 😂
-good recall in familiar surroundings
-understands "wait command" on hikes

*Improvement areas needed

-still needs confidence with strangers (he's always shied away from people but he is getting much better bit by bit) each week is an improvement.
-He's been a countersurfer since day one but he is responding well to recall on this 😂

Overall I would say Mavericks name suits him very well he is a dog who marches to the beat of his own drum he loves to be by you with a ball or stick he doesn't necessarily love to be loved on but he will take all the belly scratches you can give him he's the kind of boy that wants to go for walks, hikes, on the trails, playing with other dogs, or in the water. swimming he is slowly starting to love lol but as long as he can touch he is happy as a clam but if you swim too far he wants to try to come get you I could see him being a dog who would love to sit on a paddle board or boat he still has a fe**sh with the laundry basket and that will never change I just take it as on the days I put laundry away he's going to help me learn how to refold items of clothing 😁.

🌞 Our six-week-old Golden Retriever puppies are loving this nice weather! They had a blast playing in the puddles and mud and got their first shots this week. Watching them grow is such a joy! 🐾

Throwback Thursday back to 2003 when we got our first golden!! We were college kids that moved in together and decided to get a puppy!! Best decision ever!
We took him everywhere, He had a number of different outfits, My favorite was his striped party sweater.
We even bought a steak for his first birthday even when we could not afford it. He was our first baby and will always hold a special place in our heart!! ❤️ Golden love is the best! He later was the “best dog” in our wedding!
