Our family is from Tennessee, and I myself lived in North Carolina for many years. Hiked along the very mountains that are destroyed and we are looking for donations to send to the Tennessee/North Carolina communities.

This is both human and pet supplies also!

If you would like to help, please see the list below, of the items that are needed the most. Please reach out, if you’d like to donate and we’ll meet you or give you a drop off location. If any business would like to host a drop off location (approx one week, but we can pick up daily), please let me know!

If anyone has donations I will pick them up to take them to them!

This time last year we were packing about 350 bags each week. We packed 484 bags today. That is the highest number we have ever packed! This of course leads to a lot more food needed! We are in need of protein donations. Donations can be dropped off at Horton's General Store, Ashley Boyette-State Farm Agent, Effingham County Victim-Witness Assistance Program, Inc., Pillar Drug Company, and our packing place on Thursdays from 8:30am to 10:30am. Thank you so much for any donations, shares, and prayers!
Also, if any business would be willing to be a drop off location please let us know. Thank you!

With Debby strengthening to a category 1 hurricane, please prepare for your pets in case she strengthens and hits us directly. We are in the flooding zone, according to the news, with 18-24 inches of rain. Please make arrangements for your outside pets and livestock and ensure enough supplies to go around. Please be safe everyone!

Hot weather reminder: Protect your dog's paws from burning on hot sidewalks! Make sure any outside pups have plenty of fresh water out of direct sunlight.

Because I care about your fur babies, fireworks will start this soon for the Fourth of July. PLEASE Make arrangements for your pets. Dogs will jump fences they have never attempted before. Cats will scramble and hide wherever they can. They will run farther than they have ever run before to get away from them. You will may never see them again, especially if there is traffic. Bring them inside. Let them potty before sundown. If you already know they hate thunder storms, fireworks will be 100 times worse. If you don't have a thunder shirt you can wrap a towel around their middle to help them feel safe. Some dogs can take Benadryl or CBD dog treats to calm them down. Think about your animals before you leave your home during fireworks in your neighborhood. This is a true fact. I cannot tell you how many times scared to death animals have wandered up in my yard on July 4th and New Years. PLEASE take care of their needs. If you plan to let them out at all MAKE SURE THEY ARE WEARING COLLARS WITH ID TAGS ON THEM!
