Everyone gets along pr at least tolerates everyone around the Pepper farm. As the weather cools the mice ate going to be searching for warmer living quarters and we are hoping our kitties continue to keep them at bay. If you are looking for some mice protection at your home we have some kitties to spare. As for the puppies these cuties will be ready for their new home in just 3 weeks. Message us for details.

Our farm has hosted an exchange student for the last two year and we have been overjoyed by the wonderful experience it has been for everyone on our farm including all the extra love and attention all our animals have received. Hosting is an adventure everyone should get the opportunity to experience. My name is Silvia, I am a 16-year-old girl from Turku, Finland. I was born in Turku and lived here most of my life. My family consist of me, my twin sister Sofia, our dog Hilma and my mom and dad. Our dog is a dachshund. I love dogs. Since I was little we have always had a dog in our family. My parents have been divorced, but both live in city and me and my sister live with them every other week. My mom is nurse and my dad is a cancer researcher. My dad worked earlier at Knight Cancer Institute in Portland, Oregon and at time our family lived in Portland. I started school at age 6 in Portland. Then I didn't even know a word in english but in school I learned to speak, read and write in English. Then, we moved back to Finland, I got into an English language primary school in Turku and we have had part of our teaching in English from the second grade to the end of middle school. Therefore I have studied english for over 10 years. I can communicate and speak english very well. I also participated in an exchange trip to the Netherland with my class. This will help me a lot during my exchange year.

Since I was a small girl, I have been always doing lots of different sports as my hobby. My first hobby was gymnastics which I started when I was very little. In Portland we joined a skating club to learn skating and played soccer while my dad was coaching our team in Portland. I also did dance, tennis, swimming and many more. When we moved back to Finland I joined a team figure skating club and a gymnastics team which I did then for 7 years. The figure skating became too serious with practices every day and I then changed from the figure skating and to aerobic gymnastics which I did for 5 years competing in the Finnish championship level. Now since last year I stopped aerobics and have joined a dance team. I also enjoy sinning. I go to voice lessons usually once a week. I coach a gymnastics group from 6 to 8-year-old girls and do a weekly cleaning the gym once a week. I have worked in an ice cream stand as my summer job this and last summer. Since I have a driver’s license for a scooter (and my own Vespa scooter) it is easy for me to go to my hobbies, work and school independently. I like driving the Vespa a lot and many of my friends also have a scooter.

I just started the first year of high school and changed into a new school. My strongest subjects in primary and middle school have been PE, English and health education. I don’t like sciences including chemistry and physics a lot, but luckily in high school we get to choose which subjects we take.

In addition to school and hobbies, the main activities I do are spending time out with my family and friends. Me and my friends often go to the beach, jump on the trampoline and go driving around with our scooters. Both my mom and dad have boats. We often go boating. I like to jump of the boat to swim. My dad also has a house on a small island place owned by our grandmother in the Turku archipelago. Especially during summer, we go to this cabin almost every weekend and go to sauna and do water sports. I love to go swimming and water ski. I also spent time with my grandmother and cousins there. We play boardgames together. We also make trips to other small islands with boat. Me and my family have also been travelling in Europe almost every year going to Italy, France and Greece for summer vacations and to the Alps for skiing during the winter holidays. I have also visited Sheffield, England a few times, because my dad goes to work there often.

I am so excited and looking forward for me to come to America and to live with your family. Thank you for choosing me to spend a memorable year with your family.

The Puppies are so playful and on dry food which means as soon as they get their shots and worming this week they will be ready for their forever home!

This guy loves to cuddle and follow us around. He gets along great with our chickens and kitties and isn't bothered by the goats or alpacas.

He is identified as collar with white dots..but also has. A left black ear.

This guy loves to chew on sticks and play with leaves. He's super cuddly and loves to play with his siblings. He's going to be a great guard dog.

He is identified as all black collar...but has been also dubbed Frosty.

For those of you that don't know we recently had to get a new dog because our beloved Winter was tragically And most unexptedly killed. Copper was devastated to have lost his best friend and having a hard time protecting the farm alone so we had to get him a partner. Nana Bannana Anna has been with us just 2 days short of a month. Her and Copper aren't besties but they get along well enough to care for the farm together. She has grown up with goats so those are her number one priority and Copper keeps an eye out front on the pacas. Today this Nana Bannana Anna surprise blessed us with 8 little squeaky peeanuts. We had to move them so they were more protected and everyone has settled in great ;)

We took a few of our girls to Lakeview Highschool today for a mental health break for the students and they definitely brought joy! Everyone was smiles but this little video right here was undoubtedly the sweetest moment of the day. So thankful Jordyn was able to catch it on film! Baby was such a good girl and she clearly adored lil Tate just as much as he enjoyed her! Yes they were recently sheared pictures and videos on that and much more thays happened on the farm to come soon!
