Tibetan Mastiff Rescue, Inc. is appealing for your donations on GIVING TUESDAY to support our work rescuing and caring for Tibetan Mastiffs in need, providing food, medical treatment, shelter, and rehabilitation.

It has been a very challenging 18 months with the influx of 27 Tibetan Mastiffs from a breeder/hoarder in Illinois, together with so many others in critical situations.

The organization found a lot of wonderful homes for Tibetan Mastiffs this year, but we still have 18 waiting for their forever homes. 100% of every donation goes directly to helping support these dogs.

The future for Tibetan Mastiffs in need depends on the compassion of people like you. Thank you so much for opening your heart on Giving Tuesday.

Phoenix, has been celebrating her recent adoption (though we do think she should have waited till after Thanksgiving to pose in front of a Christmas tree, but she just could not be dissuaded), and wanted everybody to know that she has managed to gain 20 pounds in three months!! Clearly, a charter member of the clean plate club🤣

Oops! Oops! And oops. We forgot to post pictures of Maya. Maya is a three year-old girl, located in southern Virginia, who is good with people and other dogs and cats. Maya came into rescue from Kansas, together with her sister, who is since been adopted. As you can see Maya has a huge coat and is a beautiful and very sweet girl.

Ophelia had her eye surgery on Thursday and came home on Friday. She’s being a very good girl (though her foster home is sleeping with one eye open🤣) except when it comes to the cone of shame. Once everything has healed, Ophelia will be ready for her new home!

Yes, it’s that time of the weekend again, we have fabulous news! In almost record breaking time, Loki has found his new home! He left this morning on his way west to Oregon. He is a very well traveled dog in all forms of surface and air transportation.🤣 Loki is a wonderful dog, that loves people, is great with other dogs and had a wonderful story to tell, including his flight, thanks to Dog is my Copilot from Cheyenne to Glacier National Airport and then to Priest River, Idaho. One million thanks to Cassie, who fostered him (and we know found it very painful to give him up), to the shelter in Cheyenne that contacted us about him and of course to Dog is my Copilot. Happy trails Loki.!!
