It’s Friday and we have great news! Eddie is heading north to his new home!! Eddie is going up to Massachusetts to go a’whalin🤣 Eddie’s new home has adopted from us in the past and is very experienced. Happy trails Eddie!🎉🎉

Pearl the Good going for a walk in the beautiful weather that the north east is enjoying for a few days. Pearl has been to see the ophthalmologist and is currently being treated for severe, chronic dry eye, and once that is under control will have entropion surgery on her upper eyelids. Pearl is not blind, although we do not think that she could read the stock market page without a magnifying glass.

Here we go again and it’s just the beginning of the week. Please welcome these two girls to rescue. They do not have any names yet. They were seized from “unfortunate circumstances“ and are now in rescue. Their father is a Tibetan mastiff and the “breeder“ apparently wasn’t quite sure who the mother was (??) But thought it was a great Pyrenees. We don’t even know what to say to that sort of statement. In any event, they are both about a year old and like everybody else in the world, they are in southern Virginia. Names to follow as soon as we can think of more names.

Angus is an exceptionally handsome two-year-old who is located in Oregon. He’s good with other dogs, excellent with people, and is cat friendly. His foster home has been teaching him how to dog and he is learning with great ease and enthusiasm.

And then, in Southern California we have Mr. Maynard. Maynard is about three years old, and lived with children and a Pomeranian. He’s good with people and dogs and cats. He’s a great dog!

And who could be more handsome than Mr. Sully? Sully is located in Southern Virginia, he is about five years old, and is an absolutely wonderful dog. He’s great with all other dogs, male and female, large and small and is fine with cats. Sully has never met a person he doesn’t like. Wait till Sully‘s coat comes back in – he is going to be absolutely gorgeous!

Rose is a beautiful two-year-old girl, located in southern Virginia. Although she is good with other dogs, she does get very jealous of them and therefore we think she would do best as an only dog. She is also fine with cats.

Ana is only about two years old, and is located in southern Virginia. Ana is the sweet as they come and it’s great with all other dogs and cats and people and children. We have nothing but good things to say about Miss Ana.

Here is another beauty, Miss Reba, located in southern Virginia. Reba is about 5 1/2 years old and is great with people, large dogs, both male and female, and cats. She is a little too interested in small dogs.

Another one who we do not understand how people can resist. Carly is about four years old and is in northern Tennessee. Carly is a sweet as they come, loves all people, all dogs and all cats. And she is so adorable!

We cannot understand why nobody wants Dave. Have you ever seen a dog rock a man bun quite like Dave does? Dave is about 2 and is in southern Virginia. Dave is great with other dogs and people although it does take him a little to warm up to men with beards, but he will given a little time and patience.

It’s Friday so there’s a new dog - of course! Please welcome Pearl to rescue. She was picked up as a stray in Ohio in terrible condition. She has Demodex, skin infections, ear infections, broken, infected teeth, and terribly infected eyes. Her coat, which was immense, was pelted to her skin and had to be shaved. She is also covered in sores and it would’ve been too painful to try to comb her out. Notwithstanding all of this, Pearl is as sweet as they come. The shelter vet thought that she was about eight years old but given her hard life, it wouldn’t surprise us if she were younger. She may be coming up to the northeast (she is currently in southern VA) to visit a wonderful veterinary ophthalmologist so we can get to the bottom of her eye problems. Give us a couple of months and we are sure that she will be a new girl . And a beautiful one. The shelter reports that she was fine with other dogs, both large and small, and cats, and all people. So, please welcome Pearl!

Jett is also flourishing in southern California. She looks naked but her new coat will be gorgeous. Jett is a great girl that loves to meet people and play, play, play.

Stormy (adopted) got to meet Jett (black girl) and Maynard (fka Koda)(gold boy), both of who are looking for their homes, and both located in the Los Angeles area, and everyone had a great time. Maynard, perhaps was a little overly familiar with stormy but, as they say, boys will be boys.

Birthday Fundraiser: Connie Fischer, who spends a lot of time looking after Tibetan Mastiff Rescues in her care or driving to and fro to where the other Tibetan Mastiffs Rescues are looked after, loving them, taking them to and from vets and liaising with potential forever homes (talking to and meeting their hopeful families) is having a Birthday on TODAY.
