We had 2 positive Parvo cases in the hospital this week.
If your dog is currently not vaccinated please do so ASAP and if they aren’t do not take your dogs to any social events involving other animals outside of your home. The same goes for walking them in town.
This virus can be fatal and needs to be treated for immediately.
Common symptoms include:
Lethargy
Loss of appetite
Vomiting
Severe, often bloody, diarrhea
Abdominal pain and bloating
Fever or low body temperature (hypothermia)
