🐾Petco's Home for The Holidays🐾

We are so excited to be participating this weekend in Petco's Home for The Holidays Event!
On Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th Ringwood BASS will be at Petco in Kinnelon (1483 Rte 23), from 11am to 2pm with some of our wonderful dogs and cats, all looking for their furever homes.
Come on down and meet some of the amazing animals we highlight on this page!

PetCo also provides low cost vaccination clinics.
Included in this post are the prices for vaccinations ONLY.
These are not medical diagnostic appointments.

Make your appointment today for the next clinic to be held on Sunday December 29th from 10a- 4:55p.
All patrons need an appointment which can be made via VetcoClinics.

🐾 Chloe 🐾

Meet absolutely adorable Chloe!
Chloe is a two year old, female Bluetick Coonhound/Beagle mix at around 38 pounds.

Chloe is loving, super friendly, loves getting pets, and gets along so well with the 4 other dogs she came to us with.
I just love her markings! Face and body so different but work perfectly together to make her a stunning dog!
She would make a wonderful family pet!

Pick up a kit at the Circulation Desk. It will have all the supplies you need!

Kits must be returned by December 21th

🐾 Sophie 🐾

Meet the adorable Sophie!!

Sophie is a year old, female Beagle mix at 27 pounds.
She is friendly, playful, sweet, gets along so well with the 4 other dogs she came to us with.... and that face!!!! I just love her off center face markings.... you really can't get much cuter than Sophie!
She would make a wonderful family dog!

Come to the shelter daily from 9:30 to 10ish, after the pups have breakfast, or 3-5 in the afternoon... or by appointment if those times don't work for you.

🐾 Paris 🐾

Meet the wonderful Paris, you couldn't find a sweeter girl.

Paris is a beautiful 3 year old Shepard/Husky mix weighing 57 pounds.

She came to us with two bullet wounds to her left rear quarter area... (see pics) not sure how she got shot (don't you just hate people sometimes) but she was treated and is recovering nicely.

You would never know she was abused in anyway because she is an absolute love, she gets along so well with the group of 5 dogs she came to us with, like she is the mother hen to her little flock.
She also loves people, she is playful, gentle and smart.

She would make an amazing family dog.

Happy Thanksgiving and Gone Home!!!

There are so many things to be thankful for at BASS...
First and foremost, we are so grateful for our leader, Ellen, who does so much for our pups day in and day out.

And secondly to our adopters!
We had some awesome adoptions in the past 5 weeks, the Triple K brothers all went home!!! Kirby, Kody and Kane had been with us over a year and then within 2 weeks they all found their perfect families.
And Sarge went home to relatives of the family that took Tiny, so even though they aren't in the same house they see each other all the time.
And congrats to the families that brought home Claire, Gator, Outlaw and Sandy.

Happy Tails little ones and Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!!

🐾 Harper 🐾

Oh my puppy cuteness!!!

Meet Harper, a 4ish month old female Hound mix... we also think maybe some boxer because of that soft beautiful brindle coat.

Harper is as sweet, friendly, puppy goofy, loving, fun, adorable little girl as you will ever find.
She plays so nicely with the group of dogs she came to us with.

If you are looking for a perfect family puppy, you cannot go wrong with this girl... you will fall in love with her the minute you meet her!

Jackson wants to know what everyone is doing today, because he is waiting patiently for his family to show up!!!
Jackson is a 3 year old Mt Fiest mix... he is an awesome dog, just loves attention and getting pets, at a great size, perfect for any family.

The dogs at Ringwood BASS (and the volunteers) love their Trex bench so much, we're collecting another 1,000 pounds of plastic to earn them a second one.
Please drop off plastic at the Ringwood Public Library (inside the door) or the Community Presbyterian Church on Carletondale (side door).
Much thanks to the Church members for their help in collecting!!
Also, to the Jennifer Ryan Hsu and the Green Team, for coordinating the worthwhile program.

And a very special thank you to Robin Canetti for all she does for us at Ringwood Bass!!!

🐾 Liberty!! 🐾

Liberty had so much fun playing with young twins Leighann and John!
He couldn't get enough of playing with his rope and chasing balls.
We love when our young volunteers play with the pups, such a different energy for them then us old folks!

Liberty is a gorgeous, fun, playful Husky mix around 2 or 3 years old... and as you can see, he is great with kids, would make an awesome family dog.

For Josie"s birthday she wanted to come to the shelter to bring us supplies!
Josie and her family got their 2 dogs, Cassidy and Rocky, from us and wanted to give back.

🐾 Hercules🐾 Please share post!

I want to reintroduce this handsome, sweet, loving dog Hercules.

Hercules came to us a while ago when his parents were involved in a tragic car accident.
Hercules is a Shepard mix around 6 years old, he is smart and loves to be pet by anyone he meets but he is strong weighing around 65 pounds!

I know Hercules has some restrictions on the type of home he goes to... only dog, no cats and no small kids because of his size (he loves people we just don't want any small kids getting knocked over!) but I just know there is a family or person out there who can appreciate this beautiful dog!
