Day 12 and they’re coming out of the neonatal period and beginning the next stage (transitional period). Eyes are opening and their drunken swaying and moving around has transformed. Eyes are peeping open today. The upturned snout allows the small sliver moon of eyes to ‘take in’ what’s higher than the ground. You can see their response to light as well as other movement (from the black on white kennel logo, siblings or me with hands and camera in whelping box).

Today was Whoshe’s ultrasound. From the heartbeat and ‘intensity’ visible, there are 7 for sure, potentially 8, and a 9th was believed to be seen.
Some of these images are duplicated when crossing over to gain the next visible fetus in the horn.

We’re 👀 (looking) for a family 🏡 .
She has a strong and steady foundation and a promising future! She is smart, agile, brave, protective, beautiful, and funny 😄.
No trauma or drama, instead she’s a ‘well lived and loved’ house dog.
Both parents have been DNA and PennHIP screened for health check and breed verification.
Up to date on all 💉, export pedigree, gastropexy performed, leash trained, crate trained, accustomed and comfortable travelling, and she lives with 6 other Filas and a parrot.

New Home🏠 /New Family ❤️
I am so happy to share another new week of experience! Week 12 and Felix de la Luna “Jackson” has made his journey. His Daddy was able to drive 🛻 here to meet us before we bred, and see where his life would begin. Then he traveled again to see both Whoshe and Favor at a show prior to breeding. And now, he’s came to pick him up and go home to spread the love 🤩. It is a great fortune to find families that plan ahead and become a part of the process even before whelping.
I look forward to seeing his progress as he grows ✨

I am so happy to share another new week of experience! Week 12 and Frost de la Luna “Scar” has made his journey. His Daddy was able to fly ✈️ here to meet him, meet us, see where his life began, pick him up, then go home to spread the love 🤩. I am glad his Dad was able to see his loading and unloading at flight transfers and able to be with him closely in-between.
I look forward to seeing his progress as he grows ✨

This coming week will be our last, then off to new adventures. They’re actively seeking their crates daily inside as nap time approaches 😴, and content. Night time has changed from communal sleep to crate time. Visiting “Uncle & Aunt” brought a quickly killed ball and an all favorite toy, a squeaky snake 🐍 and the ‘Battle Royale’ was game on 🥊 Fay was the obvious winner after finally catching Rap’s early sn**ch and run 🏃‍♀️.

Dirk de la Luna “Aryan/Orion” has found a home! I have the pleasure of meeting and getting to know “Sue”, last night. She has owned two Filas, prior to those, a Tosa. She shared her experiences which I was pleasantly pleased to know some of. Today, transportation arrangements are being secured.

I must thank the following: the person whose unfortunate task was to call me the morning after Arvind’s tragic death, Arvid’s parents, Uncle and Sister, the two neighbors, one assisting with the daily care, and one assisting in networking, FBA Members, and the Fila Group Administrators who allowed my posts, the owners of Filas from my past litters, the messages of support from so many, my veterinarian office where Arvid made the 2+ hour trek for annual appointments during Aryan’s life, and finally/especially “Sue” for desiring an older Fila to share her life with.

Consistent weight gain ⚖️ and the 💩 just keeps getting bigger 🫣.
Chewing like crazy 🦷 and adding more and more toys to demolish 💥
Living the fun life during playground time 🛝.
Added another experience to their collection, a grooming table. No fear, so they’ve got to be monitored closely.
Mommy Whoshe is still having Zoom meetings, and their growth is so apparent in the videos 🎥
Playtime with Daddy Favor is fun in doses.

My sadness for your loss Gregory Joseph, and my happiness for the love you two shared in the 13+ years together. From my very first litter born of Unifila Serras de Minas Ossanga “Ozzy” and Jacy Guardiaes do Caracu CGC "Juicy".
You provided a home of love. You cared for him enabling his longevity, and continuing a legacy. He was loving, intelligent, funny, athletic, beautiful, healthy, and protective. As a team, you accomplished his recognition as Int./NtI. CH Aeros de la Luna 🏅, following in the 🐾 🐾 of his parents.
Thank you for keeping us in your lives all these years. I am so fortunate to have found a home with you.
