Big announcement guys. With my wonderful group of Pampered Pets continuously growing, to help keep up with demand, my wonderful husband and fellow pet enthusiast, Andrew, will be joining my team. Poopy pick up and yard care: picking up doggy doo and weeds in the yard, helping you keep your space as clean as your pets after a good groom. Going for the amazing price of $25 an hour

At home pet sitting: starting at $45 a day, with daily check ins and photos, 2 hours of one on one pet care and attention, with potty breaks, feeds, brushing and pets included. Grooms, walks and additional hangout time are optional add ons for discounted prices!

I have officially updated my pricing. I’ve been telling many of you I would be doing so, and with the close on our new lot and the (hopefully soon) start on the new salon build, it’s finally time. After speaking to my financial advisor on my income needs and analyzing the fair rates for grooms in the current market, we came up with these price breakdowns. Existing bookings will keep their current prices (valid through July 15), new bookings will have the new pricing. The new pricing is as follows:
NOTE: All booked estimates will be based on the AVERAGE time it takes for me to complete your dog based off weight (it is also the MAX I will charge for the groom unless there is a case of severe matting or impaction that adds significant time to the groom), your individual dogs may take less time and your individual price will reflect that.
New clients cut and bath: $65/hour
Returning clients on bath and cut schedule: $50/hr
Bath and brush (Spaw treatment): $50/hr
Nail clippings and add on will keep their existing rates.

Return customers will also be offered locked in rates. If you cannot afford these prices, I will still offer limited free and discounted groomings, and 30% of all tips will go towards these grooms.

Good morning guys! I have some big updates for you all. Firstly, I’ve told a lot of my regulars, but starting June 20th I will only be doing pick up and drop off, no customers at my home, unless it’s for a neighborly visit minus your pets. This is to follow HOA guidelines, but will not be permanent.
Secondly, and perhaps most exciting, my husband and I are under contract for a plot of land on Hanley Rd NE (5 minutes from my current location but no official street address yet). This will be our new home location, and the future location for the new and improved Pampered Pooch. My builder and I have been working together to create a site plan that will work best for the needs of all your pups and kitties, adding in new things like a walk in shower for your XL pups that barely fit in my current shower, and a yard specially for my pup clients to help decompress ( or just generally get out the energy of some of my most wiggly pups).
Lastly, with this move and build my pricing will be restructured. I will start charging hourly ($50 per hour, rounded to the nearest quarter hour), and give quotes based on the average time a pup takes based one size and coat type. For regular customers I will offer lock in prices, so you know what to expect each and every time and I will also continue to offer discounts such as a golden pooch memberships and walking memberships. I strive to keep my prices reasonable for you all. For those of you who may struggle with the new pricing, I’m happy to work with you one on one to find something that works for us both.

An update regarding my HOA issues:

The director of the HOA Heather Pitham has finally responded to my request for an appeal with the board. My appeal date has been set for February 20th at 1:30 pm via Zoom. At this appeal I plan to present my state, city, and home occupation licenses and registration forms as evidence of my compliance, but what I also hope to show them is the support of my fellow neighbors and customers. I have created a petition for those of you who would like to support me to sign, but if any of you would like to take it a step further, I will also be presenting any written statements from fellow neighbors hoping to show support. If you are willing to write a statement please send it to my email [email protected], and include your name and address so that the HOA can verify you belong to our neighborhood. Thank you all again for your continued support, I hope to continue to offer my services for many years to come.

Good morning all! It’s officially 2 weeks until my birthday, and in the spirit of giving I will be offering 2 specials:

The first: 10$ off all services over 15$, and 25% off all services 50$ and over.

Before and after on Tyler today. Tyler is a rescue and was in rough shape hair cut wise when I first saw him. He clearly wasn’t used to groomings but after a few weeks and lots of love from his new owners, he was a completely different boy with me this time and I was able to make him look 100x better.

So unfortunately, some sorry soul has taken it upon themselves to report my business to my HOA for having regular visitation by customers and or employees (apparently my childcare is also a part of the problem). I've been notified by the HOA that they willl take action. So I’ll likely be forced to find an office space to work, something I was avoiding as a means to keep my rates and business expenses low. I have a few days to figure it all out… will keep you guys in the loop, hopefully I won’t have to shut down. Happy holidays y’all. 😕

Hey y’all! I have been working night and day for some very exciting things to be coming to you starting January 1st! Starting with this: my No-Pull Dog Walking Kit. First, a back story: this handsome boy is named Duke, which is a very regal name for the kind of do**us he is. Duke is a very scaredy dog, and has a habit of barking at “scary” strangers and yanking his walker around the neighborhood, given the opportunity. He is exactly the kind of dog I made my No-Pull Walking Kit for. With this kit, Duke went from pulling me around every which way (as his owner can solemnly vouch for) to walking right by my side, going at MY pace, with minimal effort. Happy Sunday to all. Many of you already know this, but on top of being a groomer, I am also a mom and a student. I say this because December 19th through January 9th I will be taking an intense intermission class, and will only be offering my services only one day a week for those 3 weeks, with this being my last full week of scheduling. Dry skin can be an issue for pooches that get bathed a bit too often, most dogs can go 4-8 weeks between their baths, some dogs, especially ones with thin coats, should go longer.
