Our Story
As many people who relocate to the SW and never been to the SW, it is definitely a culture shock. Please note we were from a metropolitan city so coming out here to the SW was so different in a very good way. No traffic, yay, quite nights, you can see the stars at night and the tranquility the SW brings, we definitely fell in love. And as pet lovers that we are, we were moving out here with our dog no questions asked. As we began to settle in we were very confident that we would not have any problems buying her “special “ food. Due to her allergies our dog was in need of a very selective food at the time. As we try to settle in our new home in Rio Rancho and we began to seek for a locally owned pet food store in Rio Rancho, that met our dogs needs, we were shocked to see that there was not one in Rio Rancho. Well, being small entrepreneurs, a light bulb went off in our heads and thought well hence there's not a store here, how hard would it be to create one. Well long an behold the pieces moved pretty quickly and almost one year to the date of moving to the SW we Opened up what you now know as “PET FOOD GONE WILD” !
Pet Food Gone Wild is locally owned by people who love and care for their pets and wish that same for all pet owners, for this and many other reasons, we carry healthy choices of dry dog and cat food, quality dog and cat can food, nutritional freeze dried, dehydrated and raw options for all of you. We have the healthy treats for your best friend an definitely natural chews for your chewers at home. We also have the Only state of the art self serving dog bath in Rio Rancho and surrounding area for your convenience. We have implemented Grooming so for all those pups in need of a trim, we are here for you! Holiday Closure Hours: Easter Day, 4th of July Closed. Memorial Day Closed, Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday Closed, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day Closed New Years Eve & Closed New Years Day.
