Monte Vista Pet Lodge just opened in April 2014 for state of the art pet care and boarding. Not only do we welcome your furry children of any size, we also specialize in behavioral and medical special need boarding. Our well animal boarding is $40.00/night to include, two meals a day, water at all times, raised bedding, playtime every 60-90 minutes in outdoor play yard (pool time included with lif

eguard on duty at all times!), over night supervision, as needed housekeeping, periodic message, cuddle time and love throughout their stay. Our "special need" boarding price is $50.00/night to include all of the mentioned above as well as any medication administration or personal care as needed for behavioral or health maintenance. Our Doggie Day Care is open seven days a week with no reservation required (although 24 hour notice is appreciated) 7am-6pm. Prices start at $18.00 for half day (0-5 hours) and $22.00 for full day
(5-10 hours).

🩷Did you know February is Pet Dental Health Month?🩷 Here’s some tips to help keep your pets teeth happy and healthy:
🪥Brush your pets teeth regularly with pet specific products to help reduce plaque build up
🪥Choose veterinarian approved dental sticks that are designed to help clean your pets teeth while they’re chewing on them
🐶🪥Schedule your pet to get their teeth brushed during their boarding or daycare stay at the lodge! Our groomers use veterinarian approved toothpaste that’ll help keep your pets teeth clean ❤️ Teeth brushing can be added onto grooming services as well. 🛁🪥

Snow day? That’s snow problem for these pups! ❄️ Our littles enjoy the warm dayroom when the weather is colder while the big dogs love to romp around in the snow with slightly shortened play times so they don’t get too cold ❤️

First time boarding your pup at the lodge? No worries! We do our best to make them as comfortable as possible while they are here 🤍 here’s some tips to help you prepare for their vacation at the lodge:
🐾 Book their free Evaluation day (day care) to ensure they are happy and healthy enough to board overnight 🐶
🐾 Pack their food + treats 🦴
🐾 Pack their favorite toy and a comfy blanket 🎾🧸
🐾 Pack any medications they need 🩺

🐾 Schedule an overnight reservation ahead of a big vacation to ensure they will be comfortable to board for a longer stay 🛏️

What is an evaluation day? It’s a great opportunity for your dog to meet the kennel techs, check out the routine at the lodge and socialize with the other pups. We also offer one-on-one time if you feel like your dog would prefer to not socialize 🙂 all first time evaluation days are free and are scheduled as a full day of daycare. 🐶🎾🐶 We do require an evaluation day before any overnight boarding reservation can be scheduled.

A Success Story!

When Gerty first started staying with us a few weeks ago she was extremely shy with other dogs and the staff. With alot of patience and love, this is her today! Its safe to say she has made a BFF in Riley and we look forward to getting to see Gerty's personality blossom even more!

It's a great day to make a new friend at Monte Vista! Izzy and Lily are quickly becoming BFFs!!
