AQHA World Show 2024

CR Sweet Stuff had two really nice runs in the Senior and Amateur Cutting. I’m so grateful to have as wonderful trainer, coach, mentor and friend. He surrounds himself with amazing people and special horses who all have kind hearts. We might not have won any globes this year but we still are fortunate to be able enjoy the experience. And Sweetie will always be our world champion!!

Calling Dibs did not win the good cow draw at the AQHA World Show this year but he always wins the hearts of those who watch him. This gelding has a relentless desire to work and try his best no matter what I ask of him. His instincts to read a cow and always keep me safe is something special… Thanks for another fun ride buddy! Thank you for all the help!

Keepin' Braden in all our thoughts and prayers at G Shining Heart Ranch! 🙏🙏

Officials say Braden Johns was seriously injured during a National Reined Cow Horse Association event on Monday. He's in critical condition.

All of us at G Shining Heart Ranch were deeply sadden to hear of yesterday's accident at the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity®. We send our heart felt thoughts and prayers to Braden & his family for a full recovery.

As our day comes to an end, we reflect on the tragedy that happened in our cow horse family today. Please join us as we lift up Braden Johns and his family and friends in prayer. We are praying for wisdom for his doctors, strength, healing, and a full recovery for Braden, and comfort and love for his family and friends after an accident during today’s preliminary cow work.

Braden piloted another horse through the prelims and made the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity® Limited Open Finals. Jesse Spence will be catch riding Chloe Smith’s stallion, Jewel Rey Von, in the finals. We know the entire cow horse family will be cheering for them on Friday night and lifting Braden and his family in prayer.

Proud of this new team trying another new event together and having success right out the gates! Moana & Alea got all fancied up for the Best of the West reining and looked great out there! Champions in the 13U Youth Derby to take home $500 in NRHA earnings, NRHA Bronze and a beautiful new buckle ❤️

Two Horses = Two Circuit Championships for Alea at AZQHA Fall Championship!!!

🏆 Soula Shiner only showed in one event but won under every judge to take home the Youth Cowhorse Boxing Circuit.

🏆 HF Tail Dragin Time showed in about every class offered and came out winner of the 13U Ranch Trail Circuit.

❤️ We are proud of Alea and her mares for a great show.

CALLING DIBS - NP Hackamore CHAMPION!!! Our first trip ever to Reno was sure a memorable one ❤️ Jake Barry also placed 4th in a tough Open Hackamore class. In total Dibs added over $4k to his lte!!
