We had another Top 10 finisher in the barn at the AQHA Level 1 Championships WEST, congrats Martha Molever!
Martha and Blazing In My Bloomers finished 8th in the Level 1 Amateur Ranch Trail in a huge class of 60+.
The Ranch Trail had some great competition! It was so good to see this class offered at the Level 1 Championships and have it so well attended.

K|W is packing up and heading to Las Vegas next week for The EMO Celebration Show! We can’t wait to show in a beautiful, air conditioned facility and hang out with all our horse show friends.
We finally got all our photos in from our last trip to the for the AQHA Level 1 Championships WEST. It was a great trip!

The Ten Percent (Ducky) owned by Ella Downard, showed up big time for his first time entered in the aged event classes here at Mother’s Day Slide! Kendall and Ducky took home the Reserve Championship in the Level 1 and 2 Open 4 year old Stakes, adding almost $2,000 to his LTE and bringing home lots of prizes.
Ella and Ducky also had a great show in the Green and Rookie non pro bringing home some money of their own. We’re excited for this guys future!

AZRHA Mother’s Day Slide L1/L2 Open 4-year old Stakes CHAMPION, Avalanche owned by Melissa Brown.
I’m so proud of this little horse! He’s been so fun to train and is so incredibly talented, it’s an honor to ride him to the winners circle. He just keeps getting better and better. We added over $2,400 to his LTE.

We’re leaving the AZRHA Mother’s Day Slide with lots of fun awards and trophies, money won, qualifiers, great memories and lots of good experiences for both our horses and all our non pros. We’re thankful for a great barn, a great crew from Wildcat Ranch to hang out with, all the help from Tracy Brumley and some awesome horses.
Thanks you AZRHA for putting on a fun show and all your hard work to keep everything running smooth. Congratulations to all the winners this week, we saw some great runs!
We can’t wait to share more but in the mean time, we’re packing up and heading the Nutrena Level 1 Championships WEST in Las Vegas tomorrow!

Happy Mother’s Day to the moms who do it all ✨
Horse show moms are in a category all of their own. They celebrate our wins, understand our frustrations and help us deal with our defeats, they make time to drive all over the place for lessons and shows alike. Horse show moms are always ready to lend a hand, clean a stall or save the day when you can’t find your number or just need some encouragement.
Thanks to all the moms that support all of the horse crazy kids and the adults that always have time to say, “good job, I love to watch you ride.” We can’t do it without you!

It’s Saturday and we’re showing all our Ranch horses and Reiners all day long! Hope you all are having a great weekend and enjoying some good weather wherever you are.

Another congratulations to and Mojo on her win in the Am Boxing with a 70 in the dry work and a 72 on the cow!
We’re having a great time, enjoying the sunshine and some good horses. 3 more days to go!

Cactus Reining Classic is officially wrapped up and we had another Top Ten in the Amateur Ranch Super Horse to congratulate!
Jenny Pearce and Dunit With A Scholar cinched up the 10th spot with some great rides in the Working Rail, Ranch Riding and Ranch Trail. This was only Whiskey’s 5th time through a trail course and he was solid throughout the whole thing! Congrats Jenny!
Kendall and Whiskey also had a great run in the Open Ranch Super Horse, just missing out on the Top Ten.

The kids brought it during AZ Sun Circuit! It was so good seeing the youth classes flush with numbers, great horses and some super talented kids.
Congrats to Harper and Indy Sterusky on a great show! So many good runs and gaining so much confidence. Indy did so good for her very first AZ Sun Cjrcuit walk/trot experience and placed in almost all her classes. Harper and Customized Jac were rockstars in the 10&U Walk/Trot classes ending up:

- Circuit Champs 10&U Ranch Riding

Uh Oh Charlie Brown, owned by Amanda Brumley, sure showed up for his first ever AZ Sun Circuit! So many placings and points earned throughout the Junior and L1 Open Rail, Ranch Riding and Ranch Trail classes.
Charlie also ended up 4th place in the Bar 54 Open 4 Year Old Ranch Riding Derby, winning $550.
We’re so excited for this horse’s future! Next stop? The first ever Cactus Classic Ranch Super Horse Open Derby. He’ll be showing Friday-Sunday at WestWorld. Come out, hang with us and watch some of the best ranch and reining horses in the industry!

AZ Sun Circuit is a wrap for K|W Performance Horses. We had an outstanding 10 days with so many good runs, lots of placings in super competitive classes with huge numbers, great schooling for our reiners headed to Cactus Reining Classic this week and great times with great friends.
Sun Circuit is always a favorite for us and this year didn’t disappoint. Thank you to AzQHA and all the staff for working long, hard hours to host one of the biggest shows of the year!
Next stop, we’re moving back into WestWorld for the Cactus Classic! Reiners are ready and we’re pumped for the newest addiction, the Ranch Super Horse competition. See you there!

Day 1 at AZ Sun Circuit is in the books for K | W Performance Horses! We kicked it off today with our Ranch Trail and Reining horse, and they didn’t disappoint! Check out some of the highlights:
- Shannon Goldwater + SJR Smooth Rio had their best EVER go in the Amateur Ranch Trail with a 221 which got her placed on 2/3 judges cards! Kendall + Rio had awesome runs in both the L1 Open and Senior classes with a 224.5 and a 225.5.
- Jenny Pearce + Dunit With A Scholar made their Ranch Trail debut in the Amateur class with only a couple bobbles, congrats Jenny! Kendall also took Whiskey in the Senior class and had a solid first run.
- Ashley Sterusky + Customized Jac had a great go in the Amateur class with a 219.5 and Kaitlin Bowen + Xtra Fun Surprize had a really good go in the L1 Amateur class, we can’t to see these two finish out the week!
- Martha Molever + Blazing In My Bloomers had a good run in the Select Amateur Ranch Trail in a super competitive class .
- Kendall + Uh Oh Charlie Brown had a great day in the trail pen marking a 220.5 in the L1 Open to kickoff the L1 Open Ranch Horse Stakes.
- Kendall + Avalanche had a good run in the Junior Reining that was perfect prep for the Cactus Reining Classic in 2 weeks. Alvie’s getting solid and it’s showing up in his runs!
Tomorrow kicks off our Ranch Riding with Junior, Senior and Amateurs in Arena 6. Select and Lvl 1 Amateur Reiners in the North Hall. Ashley and Customized Jac will hit up the L1 Amateur and Limited NonPro Boxing in the afternoon in Arena 8. It’s going to be a busy Sunday!
