Dr. Smith and her family took a short weekend trip to Eureka Springs, AR so the boys could trout fish in the Ozarks. While they are fishing, Max went shopping and found this adorable store that has rescued bunnies who work at the register! Mochi counted back change, handed out receipts, and gave Max and Annie their purchases. How absolutely delightful! Wonder if we can train the clinic cats to do this?? Eureka Springs Working Bunnies
Here’s a feel good video for you this beautiful Saturday… when Dr. Smith checked her mailbox this morning she heard the unmistakeable sound of a wailing kitten… She eventually found it in her neighbors’ flower bed and had to recruit help from her cat whispering son, Sam, to catch it! Maybe he’ll follow in his mom’s footsteps one day!
If anyone needs any baby and dog laughs… here you go!
Why do the best doggies get cancer?! It seems to be a universal truth, doesn’t it?! Shug was diagnosed with diffuse lymphoma at her regular exam and vaccine appointment this summer. Dr. Smith was able to collaborate with an telemedicine service provided by a friend who’s a board certified veterinary oncologist, and together they will get Shug through a year of chemo and get as much quality time as we can with her dedicated owners.
Shug doesn’t know she’s sick, she just knows that once a week she comes to see her friends and get ham slices and belly rubs!
