Soot and Onyx do not disappoint! They have been trail riding 2x, in rope halters, got their teeth floated yesterday and were champs and Soot had the bridle on for the 1st time today. Of course, she just took it all in side like she's been doing it her whole life!

Tomorrow is the day we've been waiting for! Turning Point Training and Smokie Ridge Sporthorses are joining forces and putting the 1st ride on Soot and Onyx!! We will be going live , so stay tuned!! Giddy up girls! 🤠

Totally remarkable! We hadn't even showed Soot the flag! Tie, saddle pad, flag no problem. Just stood there, never flinched!! Onyx and Soot you are proving to be awesome! And yes, Soot has stuck! Any suggestions on a name are welcomed!!

Wow, I can't believe Thanksgiving is here!! I have so much to be thankful for and I am truly blessed. My family 1st and foremost. We were blessed with a healthy baby girl in May. Mom and Dad are great parents I have to say! New home and farm! Can't believe in such a short time we've got everything up and running! I started a new business and have been running our air bnb too! Looking back on the year things were crazy and we've been blazing full steam ahead, but it's time to sit and reflect on all that we have. I am truly grateful 🙏 Wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving.

WOW! That's what I can say about these two! Day 1 we went in with no expectations and didn't really ask anything and they both said yes! Blue barrel let me touch and kick it, tarp let me walk over that blue thing and pick it up and swing it! Jolly ball oh thanks for the toy!! Saddle pad and plastic bag on fence, whatever! Dogs running and playing who cares!! Rope halter, let me see it and I'll think about it! Ok sure you can put it on and lead me around!! Lol
These two will be for sale, but I have to say they already are proving to make that hard!! Oh we need names! I've been calling the buckskin soot and the other one Blackie! So help us out and give us some ideas!!

Here's the thing we did! Md to Montana and back in 4 days to pick up these beauties!
3yr olds unbroken, were born and raised on 2600 acres. These girls have been hardly handled and they loaded for us, traveled fantastic, walked right off the trailer when we got home at dusk. This morning they had some grain , learned what a carrot was and helped me muck the pen. Can we say BRAINS!! Thank you Justice Quarter Horses for producing awesome horses!
