Whether aggression or misbehavior, excitement or separation anxiety we are here to help you and your pet make that special bond. We meet with you and your pet and evaluate your specific goals. We give you realistic objectives and provide you with the tools and support to meet those objectives. Our training programs are based on American Kennel Associations recommendations of a canine good citizens

program. This gives you national recognized behavior standards and outline goals for you and your pet to meet. We never leave you and are always available to assist even long after we've completed our training.

Flynn is one the longest residents- why?⁉️⁉️

Poor Flynn has been at the shelter over a year! He's one of our best behaved dogs! Flynn is incredibly intelligent and recently graduated obedience training classes from Behavior Plus.👨‍🎓 Not only is he very smart, he's a handsome and social boy who is INCREDIBLY friendly and playful with other dogs. 👍

Flynn is such a great companion and would be a perfect addition to a home with teens and other dog playmates. 🐾One shot is all Flynn needs to convince you he's the one to join your family! Meet him at our shelter in Newark, NJ!😻

Drop-Off daily stay and training is a combination of training and supervised socialization for your dog. Day training is meant to supplement in-home or group training to continue to retain obedience and social skills. Behavior Plus will continue to work on your dog’s basics, leash walking, confidence building and even reactivity. Available at both River Edge and Caldwell locations.
