Here are a few food safety tips for your furry family:

❌ Don’t mix old and new kibble bags—clean storage bins between refills
💡 Be aware of pet food recalls and avoid feeding your pet any recalled food or treats

✅ Keep cats indoors (they’ll live longer, healthier lives, too!)
✅ Leash dogs on walks and don’t allow chasing or harassing wildlife
✅ Supervise outdoor time, especially in areas with coyotes, hawks, or snakes

🌊☀️ Happy National Beach Day! Whether you’re heading to a lake or the coast, don’t forget to keep your pet’s safety in mind while you soak up the sun together:
🐾 Protect Those Paws – Hot sand, rocky shores, or pavement can burn sensitive feet. Stick to cooler parts of the day and bring a towel or blanket for them to rest on.
💧 Hydration Station – Pack plenty of fresh water and a bowl; lake or seawater isn’t safe to drink!
🕶️ Shade & Sunscreen – Give your pet a break from the sun with an umbrella or shaded spot, and ask your vet if pet-safe sunscreen is right for them.
🏊 Swim Supervision – Not all pets are natural swimmers. Use a life vest and keep a close eye, especially around currents or deep water.
🚫 Beach Snacks Beware – Steer your pet away from dead fish, trash, or lake algae, as some can be harmful.
