Adorable vanilla presented to us as a pyometra case. Vanilla did well during surgery and is recovering well! Kira came in for her last distemper, second leptospirosis, and first lyme vaccine. We also did a nail trim and sent home with preventative! Preventative is important to prevent heartworms, hookworms, roundworms, and fleas/ticks depending on what preventative you’re using.☺️🐾

Kode came in for his lyme and rabies vaccine as well as a cytopoint injection for allergies. He was also treated with claro that last up to 3 weeks for his chronic ear infections!🐾

1. Feline Calicivirus which is a major cause of upper respiratory infections and oral disease.
2. Feline Panleukopenia a common virus that affects cats bone marrow, lymph nodes, and intestinal cells.
3. Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis an airborne virus.

Stormi came in today for treatment on a primary ear infection that was causing secondary vestibular disease. Clinical signs of vestibular disease consists of sudden loss of balance, disorientation, head tilt, and irregular jerking movements in the eye called nystagmus.

Handsome boy Nash presented to us for a rabies vaccine and to check his a**l glands. He ended up having a a**l gland abscess which is a painful, red, and swollen area on one side or both sides of the a**s. This occurs when the a**l sacs become impacted and they get infected. If left untreated the infection can spread quickly and cause damage to the a**s/rectum. Some signs to look for are scooting, licking or swelling by a**s, fishy odor, and straining during defecation! **lgland
