Anubis came in for emergency foreign body surgery. What we found lodged inside was a corn cob. After surgery, Anubis bounced back and recovered amazing! Some common foreign bodies are bones, toys, corn cobs, fruit pits, small clothing items, hair ties, and strings. Make sure to keep items out of reach to prevent any unwanted consumption!

Chocolate, the sweetest girl, came in for pyometra surgery. She did amazing and went home happy with her family! Pyometra is a common and potentially life-threatening reproductive infection that affects up to 25% of unspayed female dogs. This usually occurs 2-4 months after a dogs heat cycle. This can be prevented by spaying your dog when they are a puppy.
