⭐️ Staff Spotlight ⭐️

Audrey started working at Ruff House in 2022, as one of our Pack Leader’s, after previously working at another pet resort.

In her time as a Ruff House employee, Audrey has most enjoyed getting to know and build relationships with her fellow coworkers, and says she also loves watching puppies grow up here.

Her favorite breeds include Beagles, Pugs, Basset Hounds and Huskies! Felix the Beagle, Roo the Bernedoodle, and Blazer the Husky are some of her favorite friends in the play yards 🐾

A commonly asked question this week:

“What are we doing with the dog’s during this crazy heat wave?”

🏠 The doors in our main building come down so that everyone inside can enjoy the AC. We still keep an industrial fan in our small yard for additional cooling as well!

☀️ Your big dogs will get a safe amount of play and exercise in the morning before it starts to get too hot outside for them. When the heat does hit they will also get to enjoy the AC while being rotated in small play groups throughout the afternoon. It’s important to us that everyone remains safe and comfortable!

🐾 As always, we take extra precautions with our seniors and brachycephalic breeds who get limited play time in high temperatures. Fresh water is always provided and accessible to all dogs!

✨ Staff Spotlight ✨

Savanna has been a Ruff House team member since 2020. She previously went to school for Veterinary Assistant and worked for a few years in a vet clinic, where she got lots of hands on experience with dogs, cats and exotics!

As an animal lover, working at a pet resort brings Savanna a lot of joy. She most enjoys the satisfaction of making our guests happy while they’re in our care ❤️

While her list grows every day, some of her favorite friends include Dutch and Brooklyn the Labs, Raya the Golden Retriever and Pierre the French Bulldog 🐶
