What is going on here?! Heat wave in October!!? Remember to keep your birdies cool and that our outdoor aviaries close when it's 90 degrees! So plan to shop early this week!!!

Please, please make sure your birds have plenty of water, shade, and ways to escape this heatwave! For outdoor bird aviaries, use misters, overhead water sprinklers and fans!! At the first sign of distress, bring any bird inside to cool off...
And as a reminder, our outdoor aviaries close at 90 degree weather so we can turn on our overhead waters and fans. Praying all ours and your feathered friends stay safe this week!!!

Woohoo!! We are open this week, Tuesday, July 30th, through Saturday, August 3rd, from 9AM to 5 PM then we will be closed for 2 weeks for our annual vacation!! Don't worry, all the birds here will still receive the best care as a few of us are still working!! If you happen to miss us too much, go visit our Anaheim sister store and see where the magic began!! They will still be open to assist you with all things bird related!!!

When temperatures get warm, we will be closing the aviaries to turn on the misters and overhead sprinkler system and let the birds settle without trying to catch them or even be bothered with people walking by... so please plan on coming first thing in the mornings if you are looking for aviary birds!!! Thank you!! Together, we can get through this Southern California heat wave!

We have some of the sweetest, cutest , most darling baby cockatiels right now!!! Cuteness overload!!!

Summer mornings are the perfect time for our baby Zebra Finches to get a little sunshine!! We have about 15 baby Zebra Finches that just popped out of their nest boxes and are cutely learning to bathe, eat, fly, and do all things their parents can do! Come in and watch, but come early... our aviaries close when the temperature hits 90 degrees so we can leave them alone to be misted or take a bath in the fresh cool water we provide!

Just our sweet Zebra Finches eating somebody else's veggies!!! Wait til the end to see whose veggies they are stealing!!

Playtime for this perfectly proportioned playful parrot, practicing his perching, peering at play toys, and puffing up his plumage! The plethora of playtime while performing playful pranks prompted me to proudly perpetually proclaim "pretty parrot" as he practiced his perfect poses! Haha!!

Well, this AMAZING Lorikeet found a fabulous forever home today!!! Can't wait to hear of all the fun adventures they have together!! We will absolutely miss this sweetheart and fantastic dancer!!!

Oh my gourd! These gourd-looking Green Cheeks really squashed their treats today! They really only had gourd intentions! Have a gourd day!!! Can you guess what they're gourdging out on today????

Remember those Itty bitty baby doves 2 weeks ago? Well, they have grown up!!! It seems that no matter how old they get, momma still wants to spiff them up before bed!! She is a great momma, always making sure her baby's feathers are in perfect order!!!
