We had to say goodbye to our sweet baby girl Maya she fell in our pool and with her arthritis she couldn’t get out. Our sweet baby was 15 years old. She had a sweet personality and was extremely stubborn. Miss you sweet girl.

This little girl and her husky have gone viral due to their absolutely adorable costumes. The girl, named Agata, was celebrating Carnival in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, dressed as the classic fairytale character Little Red Riding Hood. Agata was a precious sight in her own right, but her companion m...

This woman dropped off her dog at a kennel in Dublin Ireland. Came to pick her up 3 days later. To pick her up and she was dead. Bella is a petition to get the place investigated.

She had no idea that would be the last time she saw her dog Nova alive. (178747 signatures on petition)

In an absolute tragedy, an 18-week-old puppy has died from a heart attack due to the loud noises caused by fireworks. Molly, a young terrier, was only 18 weeks old when fireworks and loud bangs in the Wombwell and lower Darfield area in South Yorkshire caused a fright that would result in her untime...

UDPATE: WE ARE VERY HAPPY TO REPORT SELENA WILL BE GOING TO HER NEW HOME ON SATURDAY.

We are currently taking applications for Selena!

Now, she's clearly been through a lot of not very good stuff, lately. And she's still learning how to adapt to losing her sight. So let's lay it out for you...

First of all, she's a sweet girl! Nervous around new people at first, she warms up quickly and loves to be close to you.

She walks nicely on a leash (but needs verbal cues about where you're going), takes treats very gently, and loves butt scritches!

Selena likes soft dog beds, squeaky toys, and she'll "nurse" on a blanket to comfort herself.

She seems to be house trained and knows the moment she hits the grass, it's time to do her business - BUT, you'll have to understand that there will be accidents at first until she learns her new home's layout and her new people's schedule. Patience, kindness, and consistency are key, here.

She would need a calm, low key home without small children to startle her. Right now, it's best if there are no other dogs in the home.

We recommend crate training or gating off a smaller area for her when you're not home so she doesn't get "stuck" somewhere. Also, stairs are a danger for her - either no stairs or gating off stairs for her safety is strongly recommended.

Blind dog experience is obviously a plus. A fenced yard is also recommended - blind dogs can become disoriented and wander off or get lost chasing the scent of something.

What's VERY important for this dog is a stable home environment. She needs someone who doesn't move house often. Someone who isn't going to rearrange the furniture. Someone who will make her comfort and sense of safety a priority.

So, if you think that Selena is the perfect dog for you and you're VERY serious about adopting her, please send in an application! Application link is in the comments. If she's not the right dog for you, please share this post so we can find Selena's perfect person!

Thank you!

Selena is 3 years old, spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is just $150.

Selena will be available to go to her new home on November 1st.

smoke ho**ah outside and baby girl was asking my cousin to share her candy Wagging her tail. I was looking at my bowl of sheesh (to***co) next tithing I know I hear hiss! I look over and I see she knocked over my hot coal and had her tail over my burner. She has burned fur on her tail but luckily she is unhurt didn’t even notice. But now it smells like burnt puppy hair
