Wow! I feel like this has been forever in the making— and I finally get to announce!! Please save the date for our first In-House I Heart K9 PPD Trial! March 29-30th time TBD. Details along with rulebook will be posted this week. Registration will open this weekend. You must be in current attendance at I Heart K9 and attend at least 4 classes in February and March. Please wait for the rulebook and some details to post before you flood my inbox with questions 😬😂 This is designed for personal protection, at three levels, and designed to make you succeed… think of it more like a certification with a friendly competition attached. We have other very exciting things in the works like a new obstacle course and some very awesome seminars that we are working on. Stay tuned for dates!! Last year we moved the field… this year we make it ours!!! Cheers to 2025!!

HELP US IN BEING ABLE TO RESCUE MORE IN NEED! We MUST have the funding and fosters necessary to save more dogs from euthanasia. With the current animal crisis, we are seeing less adoptions, which means dogs are staying in rescue longer which equates to more expense per dog. This also means we must have committed fosters. Short term fosters just are not an option. Help get those funds in place! We have a $5400 goal! We recently took in 2 neglect cases that will require surgeries before they are able to be adopted out, not to mention their severe upper respiratory infections they are getting treated for now!

We also still have dogs & pups in our program that require training, food and maintenance.

The amount of rescues that are closing due to the lack of success raising funds, lack of volunteers willing to foster or help and slow adoptions has been increasing every month. Each rescue we take in needs treatment for any past trauma or upper respiratory infections, often causing immediate veterinary care. We take pride in training each of our fosters to the best of their ability while in our care.

‼️🆘 CRITICAL URGENCY🆘‼️
We are in critical need of funds. With over 20 dogs & puppies in rescue we need $2800/mo to care for these dogs. Generally another $500-1000 in vet bills for medical conditions, injuries, spay and neuter.
Fundraising efforts have not been coming close to our needs.
Our 30 day Instagram fundraiser has raised just under $73. Wishful Wednesday and $5 Fridays have not been bringing in anything. We have two wonderful supporters that donate every month and have had some shirt sales. But even with that, we don’t clear $400. That doesn’t come close to the need.

What is Shark Bite you ask? Always wanted to give it a shot but we're not ready to enter a trial????

Great news!!!! This Sunday from 8-10 am- we will be doing an open house!!! Let your dog take a bite in the pool for $10!! You will get to go one the dock or ramp , depending on your dogs confidence level, and take a bite from one of our amazing Shark Bait decoys In Training!! Think your dog is ready? Enter the trial!!! We will have day of entries available!!!

Trial starts at 10:30!!!

$100 per dog, you get two runs (one profile run and one towards me run), two colors, and three edited photos of your choice! Booking is by time span, not slot, to allow you whatever amount of time you need to have your pup be successful! Show up any time in that slot!

Each run is done one by one to allow pups who may not be comfortable with other dogs.
