And so wraps up 2024! I read many people had a crappy year so I hope 2025 treats you better. It was a good year for us at RC Quarter Horses. We brought home Sage, our new Aussie girl in January. We closed escrow on our new home at the end of April and officially moved into our new house in June, brought Argus, our guardian dog, home in June as well. My best friend added a Friesian back into our lives and finally in December we added a new c**t to our foundation lineup. We enjoyed quiet evenings at home, celebrated our holidays with family and just enjoyed every moment we could with our boys. 2025 will hopefully bring some new, healthy RC babies into our lives as Lass and Rhea are cooking away.

We continue to be so very grateful to our friends and clients that breed to our boys and trust us to train your horses.

To our amazing family that has gone above and beyond to help us grow our home. We love you all. ❤️

💠Normal stud fee during the active breeding year is $800.

💠$600 Early booking where you pay a $300 deposit in 2024 and the balance of $300 when you are ready to breed in 2025.

💠And now for a limited time and limited spots, $500! This option must be paid in full before Christmas to take advantage of this offer.

Even better, my clients that already paid the $300 early booking can still take advantage of this price by paying the $200 balance before Christmas!

Hey RCQH peeps! Spread the word!

Our early booking is available still. Normal stud fee is $800; early booking is only $600. Pay $300 when you sign the contract this year and the $300 balance when you’re ready to breed in 2025.
Due to our move and limited stalls, we will not have our normal open book likely next year and spots will be limited. If you don’t want to miss out, book now. While I say this every year and the boys semen is still amazing at 20 years and 18 years; any year may be the last we offer them so truly, don’t miss your chance.

Pernell is officially sold! He left for his new home in faaar Northern California on Saturday night.

I can’t thank Ashley Monroy enough for helping find this amazing home. Best part? He will still have a little girl to dote on him. I know when he settles in, all of their hearts will be stolen. 💜

Farewell, Pernie, and thank you for all these great years and beautiful foals.
On to the next adventure.

We are happy to report Tweetie, Bucky and Blue have been tested and are negative for the new disease test EJSCA. I wasn’t too worried about Bucky and Blue as they don’t have the suspected lines. Tweetie is double bred Colonel Freckles on the bottom. I haven’t personally seen any tested positive with Colonel Freckles but since Freckles Pl***oy is a major suspect, being related, I was just a teensy nervous. 😅 Thankful to have these results to provide our mare owners with to keep making informed breeding decisions.

Before the day is over; Happy 2nd Birthday to Octavia! She is sired by our senior stallion, Kellys Blue King and out of PR Ana Blackett, the dam to our buckskin stallion, Four Time Poco.

She is homozygous black and 6 panel negative. She is ready to go on to her new partner and show in whatever direction you choose! Her price has been reduced but if she stays long enough to start under saddle; it will go back up.

Hey RCQH friends and clients! We are getting down in our training interest list. We are gathering people ready to send a horse in the near future. Training starts at $1000 a month and includes basic board. Stallions, mares and geldings welcome as well as babies for boot camp!

It’s also nearing breeding season! We will be offering openings for stallions to stand stud with us for the 2024 season. We work closely with Sheila Murphy for collection and shipping and can train and handle your stallions for the season. We also offer live cover training to ensure your stallion is respectful and a safe breeder. Inquire for these fees as they differ from regular training. Reach out today for training and stallion management!

Good news friends! We know the holidays can be crazy. We have extended our early booking discount to 2/1. Normal stud fee the rest of the year will be $800. Pay the $300 booking fee and send in the signed contract by 2/1 and only pay $600. We also offer multiple mare discounts.
