As a reminder, starting the week of August 12th our Urgent Care location at: 12447 South Crossing Dr, suite 7, in Riverton Utah will now be open Monday-Friday 8am-6pm.
We are so excited about the increased appointment options and availability that this will provide the community! To celebrate the transition of Urgent Care moving from being open 3 days a week to 5 days a week, Copper View Animal Hospital will be sharing a few posts over the next few weeks providing you with a behind the scenes look at how our Urgent Care center works to support our clients and patients.
This picture is of our “White Board” and is one of the ways our veterinary professionals track the patients coming into our Urgent Care location. It allows our treatment team to see at a glance the names of the patients and the order to be treated based off of the patient’s arrival time and the severity of their medical concerns.
The colored dots are magnets that allow us to track the progress of a patient’s treatment:
—The green dots indicate that the patient’s concerns have been addressed and that they are ready to go home
—The red dots indicate that a patient is currently undergoing examination and treatment
—The yellow dots indicate that the patient’s medical concerns may require them to be examined sooner than their arrival order would originally have them placed. This may occur for a number of reasons such as the patient being severely ill, is afflicted with a contagious disease, their emotional state is negatively impacting their condition, etc.
This is just one example of the many methods our veterinary professionals use to help our patients receive the care and treatment they need, and to do so in a timely manner.
After all, one of the primary goals at Copper View Animal Hospital is to help your furry family members feel better as soon as possible so that they can get back to making loving memories with you.
We look forward to serving you and your furry family members!
