Our paint and create fundraiser is coming up fast! It's gonna be a fun night for all ages! Tickets are $35 each, in order for us to get a portion of the proceeds you must pay with cash or check. You can buy tickets at the shelter. Spud man will also be there selling his delicious potatoes! Happy 4th of July! Just a reminder we will be closed to the public today and tomorrow July 5th but will still be available for reclamations.
Did you know that more pets go missing on July 4th than any other time of the year? They bolt from yards, homes, cars, backyard BBQs, and firework celebrations. Let’s change this now!

Keep your fur kids safe:

First and foremost, if you are attending firework displays—LEAVE your pets at home where they feel most secure. Or better yet…

Stay home and snuggle up indoors (don’t forget pet ID tags!) and shield them from the overwhelming noise.

Increase the ambient noise with soothing music or white noise to help drown out fireworks.

Close curtains to create a cozy and serene environment.

There are calming treats that can help soothe an anxious pet’s nerves. Extreme anxiety cases may call for professional guidance‚ consult your veterinarian for prescription sedatives if necessary.

Contact us or other local shelters if your furbaby goes missing.

Friday is the 4th of July, there will be loud booms and bright lights that can spook your pets. Follow these suggested tips to keep her animal safe. Also, In honor of Independence Day we will be closed on the 4th of July and the 5th of July. We will still be there for animal reclamations. Contact us if your pet goes missing.

The gorgeous boy is BeauDacious! He is searching for his furever home. He would love an active home where he can play and run around. He would make a great hiking or jogging buddy! BeauDacious isn't a fan of cats and would do best in a home without cats. He gets along with most dogs with a proper introduction. Stop by and meet this beautiful boy!

We are excited to be having a fundraiser with Wyoming paint and create on July 10th at 6pm.Tickets are $35 and if you purchase directly from us, they will donate $10 of that to Paws. You can stop by the shelter to purchase tickets. So, come and express your inner Bob Ross by painting this beautiful picture called "Northern Lights" and support Paws!

We've got some chonky cats waiting for a furever home. Their big size makes them the best cuddle buddies! They are so squishy and sweet. Stop by and meet these big furballs and get a great big hug!

Wow, what an honor to receive this award from best friends! We are proud to be a no-kill shelter. And will do everything we can to continue our mission with saving the lost and abandoned, being the voice for the voiceless, and give all those furbabies a second chance. FIREWORKS TONIGHT! June 26th at the baseball fields, fireworks will start after dark. Be mindful of your pets and keep a close watch on them. They can hear the noise from miles away and get spooked. Keeping them inside can help them be safe and secure. This time of year can be hard on our pets, with all the noise. Please take extra precautions to keep them safe.

This is Maisy, she is a shy but sweet girl. Once she gets past her initial shyness, she is the most loving dog. She will bring a big ray of sunshine to any home. She has been waiting for a furever and loving family. This beautiful girl needs her second chance. Stop by to meet her and get some of her sunshine.
