Good morning everyone! Happy Sunday! We are hoping everyone is staying warm with this cold front moving in. Give your babies a cuddle for us!

We have reached over 600 followers! We are so thankful for this community and the continued support and donations we receive.

We know we have not been posting much, but we have a lot of things in the works, a lot of behind the scenes. We can’t wait to share them with you.

For now, you can help us by continuing to spread the word about HEART Rescue, and follow us on Instagram and TikTok. This allows us to connect even more with community so we can help those in need, spread awareness of our cause, and make a positive impact on lives.

Happy New Year’s Eve everyone!!

As we head into 2025, we’d like to look back on everything we’ve accomplished in 2024!

- obtained official 501(c)(3) status
- fundraised about $4k over the year
- partnered with multiple wonderful organizations
- had 49 intakes
- 45 rescues placed in homes in Virginia, North Carolina, and Maryland
- assisted in TNRing over 50 cats over the year

We went through some rough patches, growing pains, and finding our footing. We never lost sight of our goal, giving the abandoned a chance. We are thankful for everyone’s continued support and donations! We couldn’t do what we do without you all. We have big plans for 2025, so continue to follow us on our journey!

GOOOD MORNING! Happy Monday!!

This is a courtesy post to get this baby into a furever home before the holidays! Meet Dunkin. Dunkin is a loving little boy, about 5-6 months old. He’s named after being found eating in a dumpster next to Dunkin’ Donuts!

This playful baby loves his humans and kitty siblings and can do well with dogs as long as a proper introduction is done and time to get used to everyone is given. Dunkin has a cloudy eye but the vet said this is just a birth defect and doesn't alter his eyesight at all! We think it makes him even cuter!

Dunkin would thrive in a home where he has someone to play with. He may be a little shy at first, but with love, time, and patience you'll see this adorable little boy's personality blossom! Dunkin asked Santa for his very own home for the holidays, could that home be yours?

He’s neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and current on Flea/Tick/Heartworm prevention. He’s “move in ready”!

Dunkin is available for adoption through Bedford Cares. You can send us a message if you are interested in giving Dunkin a home for Christmas!

Kitten socialization is very important for the kittens who aren’t used to human interaction. You can’t rush the process. Gaining their trust takes time. We know that their worlds have been turned upside down and they are scared. We are always happy to help Star City TNR and Rescue with these types of kittens so they can learn what love, safety, and security.

These little ones are coming out of their shells and developing their own personalities. While they aren’t available for adoption right now, you can go ahead and put an adoption application in to get PRE-APPROVED! Reach out to Caitlin at Star City TNR if you’re interested!
