Today is a day for reminiscing! This is the 1 year anniversary of "Gotcha" week for the Outer Banks 2023 crew, and wow...what an emotional whammy! Here are a few pics of our amazing families, who have nkw had their doodle buddy for a full year!!!

This was our first (and long-researched, long-planned, long-awaited) first generation sheepadoodle litter, and we were over the moon to get to raise them in our home and literally in our hands fir their first 9 weeks!

The responsibility was, at times, scary and stressful, but the fun and wonder of it all far outweighed the (literally) poopy hours. It was long nights and very little sleep, constant cleaning and early neurological activities, soooooo much food prep and unspeakable amounts of laundry.

When it came time to bid farewell to the wee crew, I admit that I cried. It was so much harder than I had anticipated! Our family had grown very attached to the wee ones, and though we knew they were going to amazing families, it was hard to say good bye and trust that all the hard work and loving effort we had put in would be of continued value. I cried saying good bye and I cried again when the new families soared with delight. Two families came to pick up their pups without their kids and afterward sent me videos of the kids meeting their new buddies for the first time. Yup....cue the waterworks again! I was such a sap, and I loved it!

Rookie mistake, I didn't get pictures of all the families on their pick-up day. I wish I had remembered to do so!!! Over the next few days, I will show progressions of thens and nows, as I have them, and hope to share at least a few pics of each pup.

Anyway, thank you to all of you for following along on our Whistler Pine Pups journey and letting us be a part of your adventure. We are grateful and we thank you, always, for staying in touch!

Loki's family in Florida sent me these adorable Christmas pictures! Loki is 37lbs and is from the 7/07/ 24 Summer Games crew.

We've been keeping a secret!!!🙈

Jenga, now Jenga Belle, was adopted by her forever family a few weeks ago, but we couldn't say anything publicly. 🤫The family was trying to keep it a surprise for their daughter who was serving with YWAM in Africa! Wellllllll, she's back, and so the exciting news is out!!!

🎉🎉🎉🎉Hearty congratulations to Jenga and to the Harrah family!!! We can't wait for updates and look forward to following along!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
