Looking for a snake with stunning colors and a bold personality? The Amazon Tree Boa (Corallus hortulanus) is a striking arboreal species known for its slender body, prehensile tail, and incredible variation in colors and patterns—ranging from fiery oranges and deep reds to earthy browns and yellows!

What Makes Them Unique?
• Incredible Flexibility – With their long, slender bodies and powerful tails, Amazon Tree Boas are expert climbers, effortlessly moving through branches.
• Keen Hunters – They rely on heat-sensitive pits along their upper lip to detect warm-blooded prey, making them skilled nighttime predators.
• Huge Color Variety – Unlike many snakes, they come in an impressive range of colors and patterns, with no two looking exactly alike!

Habitat & Care

Amazon Tree Boas thrive in vertically oriented enclosures with plenty of climbing space, branches, and foliage to mimic their natural rainforest environment. They prefer warm, humid conditions (75-85°F with high humidity) and need secure perches to coil and rest.
