We are seeing an uptick in canine cough in the valley. This usually happens during the change of seasons and, because it is airborne, can’t be completely prevented. The best thing we can do is to make sure our dogs are fully protected with the bordetella vaccine and to keep them home and away from other dogs - even on the street - if we notice them coughing. We will step-up our disinfecting routine and separate any dogs that show symptoms. Thank you!

The backdrop is set up and the props are scattered! We just need to steam the wrinkles out of the backdrop, get the lighting right, set up the camera, get our bunny in costume, and we will be ready to take some great photos! Sign up for any day listed in the flyer. My goal is to have all the photos downloaded, edited, and emailed by the 1st of April.

Please be very careful if you are coming to City Dogs this afternoon. We have put down as much safe-paws ice melt as we can, but because the sleet and freezing rain continues to fall, the sidewalk and steps are very, very slippery. Please use caution and hold onto the handrails!

Once again… winter weather is knocking at our door. We plan to open on time in the morning (Tuesday, 2/11) however, with the roads becoming increasingly difficult to navigate throughout the day, we will close at 5pm tomorrow afternoon. I will post tomorrow regarding our hours for Wednesday. Please stay safe!

We have made the decision to not offer Playcare tomorrow, Monday, January 6. The roads are just too slick and we don’t want anyone in danger, including staff or customers. We will have staff to care for boarding dogs and to be there for any check-outs. We will not charge the extra night tomorrow for anyone who feels it is unsafe to drive to pick up your pup. Stay safe!

We are keeping a close eye on the weather and as conditions deteriorate, we may choose not to open for playcare on Monday. We will, of course, be staffed to care for our overnight boarding dogs. Please check here for updates.
