Dein Schutzengel is a small, boutique training facility focused on behavior modification, basic and advanced obedience. We help people get their puppies off on a good foot by imprinting desired behaviors, train older dogs and work with owners to address behavioral issues.
We focus on root causes here - not symptoms. Where others suppress behavior, we fix root cause. Here, we identify the underlying reasons for the dog's response then leverage a variety of positive methods and holistic modalities to resolve those. We focus on the whole picture - dog's health, genetics, living conditions as well as your unique needs and challenges - then customize a program that works for you, your dog and your budget.
You won't find tons of dogs here or a fancy kennel. What you will find is our undivided attention, commitment to your success and a customized program that results in a dog whose confidence grows and who truly enjoys working with you. Whether you choose to take private lessons (usually our recommended approach) or leave the dog here for training, we will never try to sell you equipment or put our interests ahead of yours. What we will do is truly understand your concerns and goals, honestly assess your dog and look beyond just training methods to solve difficult issues.
