Did you know that March is National Poision Prevention Month?
There are so many myths and facts that are commonly confused when it comes to what is and isn't toxic and how to deal with it when a situation arises with toxin ingestion. ASPCA is an excellent resource for education when it comes to what may or may not be toxic to your pet. They have a 24/7 Pet Posion Control number to provide support.

Did you know that February is National Pet Dental Month? On average good dental care can help pets live up to 20% longer lives! Most pet parents don't realize how important dental care is for their fur babies. Brushing your pet's teeth helps to prevent the buildup of plaque and tartar which can lead to periodontal disease and even systemic illnesses like kidney and heart disease.

We get it, brushing your pet's teeth can be difficult, if the task seems futile there are options! The Veterinary Oral Health Council is a very helpful tool, on their website vohc.org, they have a list for both our feline and canine friends on products that can be beneficial to their oral health.
