Sambucha and Martini enjoying some recess time.

Sambucha has replaced his father Cocktail as our main roo due to his gorgeous coloring and sweet nature.

Cocktail is still here, just demoted to a smaller coop with fewer hens.

Newest additions!
Mary Jane decided to hatch some eggs 🐣

These two chicks are from our frizzle cochin rooster Pisco Sour and our white silkies Peppermint Patty and Eggnog.

Our lavender orpington hen Amythyst Tryst is always asking politely to come out of the coop so today we let her do some pest management in the garden 💕🐔🦗

We ended up with 4 lil fluffball chicks out of the 11 eggs we tried in the incubator.
Between infertility, a cracked egg, and one sweet baby who didn't make it, I think next time we'll try letting a momma hen sit on a clutch. ❣️

These 4 needed a lil help unzipping due to humidity issues and the one lil EE almost tired herself out but they made it & are all peeping away happily 🥰

New babies on they're way to the brooder!

The first two siblings of this little one were unfortunately killed by the mama hen so we made a DIY incubator at the last minute and I stayed up to regulate the temperature & keep an eye out for issues!
