To the neighbor that is leaving bags of dog p**p in the common areas: We love you and we love your dog but we’d love you both a lot more if you didn’t leave crap sacks lying around for others to pick up.

I’m sure it goes without saying for 99.99% of you but please don’t leave bags of dog crap in the common areas.

Just a thought. While walking around the neighborhood with my family I’ve been quite entertained by some of the chalk drawings and messages on people’s driveways. Wouldn’t it be fun if next weekend, weather willing, we all made an effort to add a message, drawing, joke, riddle or whatever to our driveways so that we have something to look at as we stroll around the neighborhood for the 200th time since the pandemic began? Just an idea!

GFL Environmental, a trash contractor serving nearly two dozen Oakland County communities, is halting its collection of yard waste, effective Monday, April 13, so it can redirect work crews picking

It’s a gorgeous day today! See everyone at 6pm at Thornridge Park for the Heatherwood Village Annual Egg Hunt! We will have over 1500 eggs, balloon twisting, glitter tattoos and the Easter Bunny will be there for pictures!
