Given this week's heat wave I wanted to be sure everyone knows that the pups in our care at the salon will be in the A/C and monitored as per usual at all times.
As a heads up, be sure to limit time on pavements to prevent paw burns and use ice between their feet if they need to cool down. Adding moisture to their food will help with hydration as well.

We will be using luke warm water to help keep body temperature's comfortable. Please try to pick up asap after their grooming so we can limit the risks of dehydration. We do try to offer water but some pups are more comfortable drinking at home.

Just want to take a minute to thank everyone supporting our business. I run a lot of the show from grooming, admin work, to managing my wonderful employee, trying to figure out how to keep nurturing a successful and safe space for everyone, technology (oy 😮‍💨), and trying to keep getting the salon better and better for the doggies. It can be overwhelming and I have to

Hello my lovely clients! I wanted to address the Canine influenza scare. I understand the distressing nature of this. However, I would really like to put everyone at ease by educating

We will continue being safe with proper disinfecting between pups, refusing service of dogs showing symptoms, and keeping all dogs seperate from nose to nose contact.

I highly encourage you to speak with your vet and your dogs specific risk factors (especially dogs with underlying medical issues) There are booster vaccines available that could help your pup fight off illness.

That being said I will post an article from the CDC concerning this topic. It has been in the US since 2015 and it has been ongoing study at many medical research labs including Tufts and UNH. As with us, illness, is a possibility when being in the public. Most viruses can mutate and change. Limiting exposure to high volumes of dogs will help, however the risk of death is very very low. I want everyone to feel safe and understand that this is not something to panic about, but rather to take precautions and be mindful.
