G'Day to you all!!! Outback Shack Conservation Effort will once again be at the Finger Lakes Reptile Expo on April 20th (yeah I know fantastic day for everything green!! ), 2024.
UPDATES:
We were invited to attend the Niagara Region Reptile Show back at the last REXPO, damn straight Outback Shack Conservation Effort will be there!!! REXPO this year so far has been near a success. SO I'm aiming to deliver a TON of Education and specimens to even hold and get a pic with at all future Expos and Shows! To top that off, see some of the hands down amazing animals that are still rather rare in the hobby. Possibly adopt / re-home a lizard or two! If anyone I mean ANYONE finds these animals amazing and would like to be an owner and have barely any experience, OR to the most advanced herpetologists, I'm WAYYY more than happy to help on literally everything.
Can't have conservation without commercialization!!! If / when I DO have Frilled Dragons available on the table, it will require a written agreement on everything to decor (driftwood, branches, Planted Branches, Moss Poles I'm hoping to have up, more climbing decorations), SUBSTRATE: I mix it myself from bulk items then add all the goodie cleaners, materials I use for the Dragons that will also be available from now on; Top Soil, Play Sand, Coco Coir (both pith and chunks), Sphagnum Moss, Diatomaceous Earth, Activated Carbon, Bark Bedding and Leaf Litter. This is all sterilized by heat.
I know high quality feeders are a bit of an issue out there. I decided to breed all of my own feeders, since Frillies are mainly insectivores. Live Feeders I prefer to give and will have available:
- Superworms
-Giant Mealworms
- BSFL possibly
- Silkworms
- DUBIA ROACHES: ask for fees on those. I will try to have all sizes available but I can't guarantee anything.
- Crickets- I'll bring them but they MUST be gone by the end of the show / expo, we do NOT feed the Frillies crickets ever.
-Driftwood & Other Branches-
-Live Planted branch or Stump
Frilled Dragon necessities: I'll have this and a LOT more written down in my book. That will be available finally at either Niagara Region Reptile Show or REXPO.
Now for anyone that needs something to keep said animals in, no worries, I have you covered with a very fair donation, for a complete BioActive Setup to come WITH the Frillie(s). Need it pronto? Let me know and I'll have one made up for the show!
NOW
Niagara Region Reptile Show in Auburn, NY coming up next weekend!!!
Will possibly have 3 different localities of Frilled Dragons. 2 at the least.
