Well it's been a wild week!!! We had Genesis scheduled for her first breeding and the insemination this Wednesday. Everything was meticulously planned to ensure success. LOL!

This breeding game is notoriously unpredictable as there are many variables outside of the breeder's control.

Long story short, one of those many variables presented and required us to resort to the emergency backup plan. This required a spur of the moment road trip all the way to Ohio!!!

HUGE THANK YOU to Darrel Hamren of Mad River Cane Corso for always being available and willing to help!!! An incredible mentor and all around great guy leading a world class program.

We were able to inseminate Genesis at her most fertile point and he allowed us exclusive access to an outstanding stud known as "Tiny Tim".

We received some incredible feedback from a couple of our clients recently that truly warmed our hearts!

Yes it's true, we are completely obsessed with everything Cane Corso, especially the breeding world and all the careful analysis that goes into every one of our pairings. I particularly eat, sleep, and breath the calculated analysis.

BUT....as much as I love it, there is a much more rewarding element. Truly, it's the people we meet and the relationships we’ve created that form the foundation of our Alpha & Omega Family. It is always an incredibly rewarding moment for my wife and I when we receive these messages and we get to see the joy and satisfaction that our pups bring to the lives of our A&O families.

When you get woken up by the semi truck driver with your 2,200lb. skid of dog food delivery at 8AM.

Here’s the kicker… since we’re in the middle of a winter storm he can’t get the pallet Jack to move the skid. He left it in the street! So then you have to haul each bag up the driveway and into the house.

65 bags @ 33 lbs
2 bags at a time for
32 trips @ 76 lbs. + 1 trip @ 33 lbs

The first ten trips were easy, it was all downhill from there lololol!

Gooooood Morning!!! 😅

We upgraded the dogs food to a new product within the Inukshuk brand: Inukshuk Marine 16.

This product features ocean sourced protein with whole oats, whole barley and brown rice. It DOES NOT include chicken, corn, wheat or soy!! It also adheres to the recommended protein and fat ratio for the Cane Corso’s proper growth and development, which is a 26% protein to 16% fat ratio.

Alpha & Omega’s VantaBlack di Rivalry Cane Corso has officially achieved her CHAMPION title with a major win, & best of opposite. And on top of it all, she also received her farm dog title!!!!! 🏆🙌🏻

Vanta was second pick female off of our very FIRST litter which is truly an unbelievable achievement so early into our program!!!

We recieved another pupdate on "Rex," one of the males from our Alpha litter. Owned by the Malone family located in Connecticut. He was the second largest male of the litter and carrying that size well into his development!

Excellent length of torso, head type, conformation. A truly amazing example of the breed!

The unfortunate truth of owning and running a business.
Running a business is really hard.
What they don’t tell you is that it can cause severe stress and anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression in even the most laid-back people.
People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore.
Friends and family will expect discounts and people will value you and your hard work less than a big chain store.
You have to worry about if you forget to email/message someone back, are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality you just can’t get to everyone’s messages and emails.
Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is just often no work-life balance.
You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner..... All while being a puppy parent, a husband or a wife, family support, friend...
There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5-10 years. If they are successful they are overwhelmed.
It takes a toll. It’s freaking exhausting. Especially the past couple of years when so much has been out of our control.
Here’s a small reminder that we are just normal people with hectic lives.
Be kind, be patient, support small businesses…….and hopefully more of us will stick around!
And know that 2022 prices are not 2023 prices.

Our pups will be raised in our living room always around our 3 children. They will be highly conditioned to the sights and sounds of small children and all the raucous activities that are included 👍 Trinity is soooo good with the babies. We have a 6 month old(pictured here) and a 2 year old that love her so much and she loves them ❤💞❤. As you can see temperament is on point; No "resource guarding", No frustration displayed at all except for towards the camera LOL🤣.
