We wanted to take this opportunity to remind everyone that we do not love Heartworm! ๐ซ๐ชฑโค๏ธ What we do hold near and dear to our hearts, are your pets! We recommend parasite prevention given every month, all year long. What youโre seeing on the microscope is Microfilaria, found in the blood of a pet who is positive for Heartworm disease. Heartworms are transmitted by mosquitoes so even if your pet is not outside a lot, keep in mind that mosquitoes do come inside as well.
What's wiggling under our microscope!?
