I see so many people post online about their dog having stomach issues, skin issues, diarrhea, overall poor health, rotting teeth, abscesses, loss of hair and bald patches. 9.8/10 they feed kibble like purina, blue diamond, victor, etc and the immediate response is "go to the vet." Unfortunately this costs way more money, time, and frustration than just switching to raw food. Understandably with the rising cost of everything raw food can be expensive but in the time it takes to learn, process, and develop a routine you will most likely spend the same amount going to a veterinarian and getting medication for little to no helpful result. Thus getting into a cycle of the same issues happening over and over again.

Happy Monday!!! We have just set up a tiktok (RawPetPantry) and I cant promise I will be any good at it but I am going to try my best!

Also product load for this week: 80 pounds of chicken backs, 40 pounds of chicken necks, 50 pounds of beef heart, 50 pounds of beef tongue, 20 pounds of beef kidney. All of that in addition to the recent load I picked up of 63 pounds mixed in addition to chicken feet.

LOTS OF WORK AHEAD!! Its grind time! 🤩🤩🤓🤓🔪🔪

We are our pets advocates. We decide where they live, their daily activities, their nutritional intake among many other aspects. We love convenience for its time saving abilities but we also must be aware what the cost of that convenience is. When we know better, we do better!

This is so important. One of the main reasons I wanted to start the Raw Pet Pantry. Kibble is processed garbage fast food and there's no way around it. Processed dog food is no different than processed human food in regards to it having no nutritional value and creating health issues. If kibble was "fresh" it would have to be kept in the refrigerator or freezer. Unfortunately it sits in a bag just like potato chips. Its really common sense.

New Study shows dogs fed fresh pet food had healthier skin and were less prone to skin issues than dogs who ate ultra processed pet food like dry kibble.

Make sure to share this research with your Veterinarian if you have a pet struggling with skin issues and try to get off of as much dry food as you can!

"Compared to the commonly known dry foods, fresh foods are processed at relatively lower temperatures and pressures. They also have a higher proportion of fresh meats, which increases the proportions of protein and fat in the food. Finally, fresh foods must be refrigerated after processing to prevent spoilage. Conversely, dry foods have higher proportions of carbohydrates and lower fat contents. Moreover, the drying process allows these diets to be shelf stable. Thus, a dry pet food will be made from different ingredients and through different processes than a fresh diet. As a result, there are differences in the nutrient profile of the diets and the nutrient availability to the animal, which could in turn influence the nourishment of the animal."
