Today is World Rabies Day. Rabies vaccines are an important tool that exist to eliminate human deaths from rabies and prevent spread of rabies in animals, both wild and domestic. Operations such as Mission Rabies allow Veterinarians (like our own Dr. Herlihy!) and Veterinary Technicians to travel to remote communities and vaccinate local dogs. https://missionrabies.com/

We are excited to announce Dr.Wylie has joined the Stoney Pointe team! Dr.Wylie has experience in both General Practice and Emergency Medicine. Her professional interests include dermatology, behavior, and incorporating Fear Free techniques into everyday practice. Outside of work, Dr. Wylie shares her heart with her partner, two dogs (Adele and Sagan) and cat (Monster). Her home has also been opened up to various foster animals as they find their way to their forever home. She spends much of her free time training and hiking with her dogs. She also enjoys cooking, reading, crafting, exploring the Rochester food scene and playing a variety of board games with friends! Welcome to Stoney Pointe Dr. Wylie! 🐾
