I'm a Certified Professional Groomer (CPG), a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Dog Grooming, one of the best grooming schools in the country. Because CPG's have gone to an accredited grooming school for 450 hours (similar to how your hairdresser went to school to learn to cut hair), and has passed extensive written and hands-on grooming tests in order

to graduate. It teaches animal skin/hair function and care, anatomy, nutrition pertaining to skin and coat, health and safety hazards, correct product use, shop sanitation, and more. There's currently no licensing to become a groomer so anyone can pick up a pair of clippers and call themself a groomer; but a CPG has taken the necessary training and passed extensive testing to learn how to correctly and safely groom your pets. CPGs who are passionate about what they do, as I am, also continually add to their education and never stop learning. I'm also the Managing Editor and contributing writer for a great dog magazine, Pup Culture. Go to http://pupculturemagazine.com/ for my articles, and many other excellent ones. As a sign of my thanks and appreciation for the many sacrifices you make and the hard job you do, Canine Central is pleased to offer a discount to members of the Military, Police, Fire, 1st Responders, and SAR. If you pre-book or book every 4-8 weeks, you get: A Free nail trim between appointments; Appointment Reminder calls; Priority holiday appointments; this guarantees an appointment during peak holiday seasons. Is my apartment jinxed, or what?! Had 8 floods since I've been here, and now this. The flooring still isn't fixed from the last flood, so there's boxes still all over (I got tired of moving them only to have to move them again when the maintenance/floor guys were trying to decide what to do), and now this.

This woke me up today before the alarm went off for work. And yep, those pipes are leaking 🙄

❗️ Save this number in your phone! It's always good to be prepared, especially with all the summer cookouts and activities coming up.

The Pet Poison Hotline is open 24/7 so there is always a board certified veterinarian on call. There is an incident fee associated with each call, but this cost covers a veterinary toxicologist reaching out to your vet to tell them exactly how to treat your pet, what diagnostics are needed, any follow-up needed, and provides valuable statistics on how prevalent these incidents are.

Stay safe this summer!
