Last year we were honored to be asked by our good friend to make 30 cooling vests to be sent out to Spain as a gift for the galgos @ 112 Carlota Galgos. This non profit association is run by such a wonderful, caring & selfless saint, Charlotte del Rio & her family, who have dedicated their lives to save these beautiful creatures from the horrors they face at the hands of the cruel & inhumane hunters in Spain (the Galgeros)😞 The lucky ones are rescued from the streets in all sorts of terrible conditions, are treated for their horrific injuries & are shown true love & happiness for the first time in their lives at the finca. To watch these poor souls go from being fearful, abused & broken to become happy, healthy & ready for adoption is nothing short of miraculous. Here we see some of those gorgeous galgos simply enjoying life like they should & keeping cool in the heat of the Spanish sun. These pictures brought tears to our eyes, just knowing that they were finally safe & happy. Someday we hope to go to the finca to meet some of these precious souls & the angels who have rescued them & given them the love filled lives they deserve.❤️🐾
