If you see a freezing cat, please don't leave him there. He shouldn't be outside at all.
This gets passed around every year at this time- and remains as valid as ever. If you see a kitty in a desperate situation as we approach winter, and you think "Someone do something!!"...
YOU. ARE. SOMEONE.
GRASP and other rescues are just volunteers, who are willing to inconvenience themselves to save a life. You can too.
Almost every single one of us have other pets, and usually, a much higher number than you. We use an extra bedroom, office, bathroom, or other confined space away from our own pets in order to take action for a cat in need.
We will have emergency tote or foam shelters available again for kitties that maybe are not friendly enough to assist more.
It truly takes a village. Our little groups of volunteers cannot possibly help the thousands upon thousands in need. So if one comes across your path and truly needs help, please remember. YOU. ARE. SOMEONE.
