'Tis the season of giving! For the month of December, we will be collecting donations on behalf of Flower City Critters Small Animal Rescue & Flower City Kitties . There will be a bin in our lobby where you can drop off your donations. If you would rather make a monetary donation, there will be a collections envelope at our reception desk and we ask that you hand it to our staff to place in the envelope. Yesterday we closed over our lunch period for our annual staff CPR training. This year's training was particularly important as we had some updates from the RECOVER Initiative guidelines for basic life support, advanced life support, and monitoring that will give our team at all levels a more informed opportunity to save patients suffering cardiac arrest.

Today is national feral cat day🐈🐈‍⬛ Some feral cats are able to be homed but others are too scared and thrive outdoors. TNR (trap, neuter, return) is crucial to keeping the number of feral cats and kittens to a minimum. You may notice a stray cat (or your kitty!) missing an ear tip, this is done to prevent trapping cats who have already been spayed/neutered.
