PawSnickety Grooming

PawSnickety Grooming Home based dog grooming with a focus on making your pet comfortable. Hello! My name is Lee Ann and I am the most 'PawSnickety' groomer you will ever meet!

I am an animal lover through and through, I am fussy, and more concerned about quality than quantity. It is my mission to provide the best and most thorough dog grooming services available in a fun and loving environment. Some dogs simply don't enjoy a busy grooming salon experience. Those are the dogs I enjoy working with the most in my grooming salon located in my home! By working from my home,

it enables me to provide a quiet, unrushed environment to my clients. I want every dog to leave looking and feeling their very best. There is just no other way to do it right! Every dog is unique and they should be treated that way.

Yes, everyone knows how much I love dogs.....but did you know that I love cats, well my cat, just as much as my dogs, believe it or not? Especially my baby, Sophia Petrillo......I bottle fed her since she was a 2 week old baby....that was 17 and a half years ago now.

I am absolutely heartbroken that on Monday I have to say goodbye to my kitty 💔

I try VERY HARD to keep my political views private, but enough is enough.

If you are REMOTELY OK with Charlie Kirk dying due to his "views" (aka spewing the facts and exercing his freedom of speech which frankly we all deserve (supposedly) the right to do in this fabulous country), then seriously and I mean this WHOLE HEARTEDLY, UNFRIEND ME, UNFOLLOW ME, and find yourself a new friend & definitely a new groomer.

Regardless of his views, my views, or your views on life, NO ONE DESERVES TO BE KILLED. I couldn't be more serious......walk away. You are no longer welcome here.

I know it has been a bit since I have posted in regards to a few things that have been going on behind the scenes in the shop, so here goes! In regards to my health, I have always been very honest and upfront with all of my customers and y'all have ALWAYS been very patient and understanding with it all ❤️ I did find out recently that I have to go through treatment again for the blood disorder/disease that I have been battling for a couple of years now. I started the treatments again today. Though I knew this was inevitable, I was definitely praying that I could put this chapter of my life behind me. Just as I did before, I promise to do my best to keep up with messaging, etc (which you all know I am terrible at anyway 😉) and to keep the schedule changes to a minimum. The good news is that I pretty much know what to expect, and this time, I have awesome part time help in the shop that Im sure everyone has met by now as they have been mentoring under me since January. On top of that, everyone by now knows Pat (my elderly neighbor that at 84 can still run laps around me) and her dog Boo.

Also, I am soooo excited to share with everyone that I am FINALLY moving ahead with the new shed/shop project! I figure what the hell.....it's now or never, and tomorrow is not promised to anyone!

I also have one more 'surprise' that I can't wait to share with you guys, but I can't.....not yet; but soon 😀

As always, I appreciate all of you more than you know 😘

*****UPDATE ON BEAR*****Unfortunately Bear did not make it 🙁

When I saw that Suzanne needed help today, after what she does day in and day out helping soooo many animals in our community, there was absolutely no way I was going to sit back and not do everything I could do to help her, Bear, and Carmen. She never asks for help so to see the 'helper' ask for 'help' I knew it was very serious.

One thing is for sure, there are a lot of fantastic, caring people in this community that stepped up and did whatever they could to help. I have been very blessed to have the most incredible dog loving customers you could ever imagine who also, always, at a moments notice are willing to help in any way that they can. It is more than clear how much Carmen loved Bear. It breaks my heart to think that she wasnt going to be able to have him come back home after being cremated because of a lack of money.

Every single one of us have struggled to just keep our heads above water and there is no shame in that. Sometimes you just need a willing person to lend a helping hand. I have had to ask for help myself before and I vowed that even though I am not rich, I would give back whatever I can. We all have something different that we can offer; from sharing posts to help get the word out about an animal in need, to offering to help transport animals, etc.......sometimes you just got to call in a favor and I did, a HUGE one.

Jeff Palma is a dear friend of mine.......I met Jeff many years ago when he asked if I would be willing to come to his house to trim his rescue dogs nails. She was aggressive, nervous, and she was horribly abused before he rescued her. He saved her life, the least I could do was donate my time to cut her nails right? I reached out to Jeff tonight and asked him for a favor.......Jeff works for a Pet Crematorium and he is also a certified pet grief counselor. I barely got through telling him about everything that went on today before he cut me off mid sentence and said he was all in, 100%, whatever we needed he would do personally to honor Bear.

Trust me when I tell you that he will treat Bear as one of his own until he gets back home to his momma where he belongs.
A sincere thank you to everyone that donated, shared the posts, and for all the prayers being sent to help ease Carmen's overwhelming grief. I appreciate each and every single one of you!

******VERY URGENT****** I rarely ask others for help, but right now, it is desperately needed in order to help Suzanne Nugent & her friends chihuahua.

For those that don't know Suzanne, let me tell you that she does MORE TO HELP ANIMALS & THEIR OWNERS IN OUR COMMUNITY THAN ANYONE I HAVE EVER MET doing rescue work over the last 20 plus years.

She has saved THOUSANDS of animals.....please, please donate anything you can & SHARE this for me. Lets pull together and for once help the person who helps soooo many others
