PawSnickety Grooming

PawSnickety Grooming Home based dog grooming with a focus on making your pet comfortable. Hello! My name is Lee Ann and I am the most 'PawSnickety' groomer you will ever meet!

I am an animal lover through and through, I am fussy, and more concerned about quality than quantity. It is my mission to provide the best and most thorough dog grooming services available in a fun and loving environment. Some dogs simply don't enjoy a busy grooming salon experience. Those are the dogs I enjoy working with the most in my grooming salon located in my home! By working from my home,

it enables me to provide a quiet, unrushed environment to my clients. I want every dog to leave looking and feeling their very best. There is just no other way to do it right! Every dog is unique and they should be treated that way.

Introducing Lucky to everyone! Lucky is Lindsies' newest addition to her family. He is 11 months old and is an Anatolian Shepherd.....definitely a rare breed here in the US, but they are incredibly smart and just want to be loved. At just 11 months old, he unfortunately has been through more than any dog should be, but he has finally found his forever home! Lindsie will be here with me for the next month, so I can't wait to introduce everyone to him...what a sweetie!

Just a heads up, I will be out of town until Sunday, December 1st. For the next week, 'I' get to turn the tables, and instead of Lindsie working for ME, I will be working for HER helping her launch her very own shop in South Carolina, Fluff-It!

As most of you know, Lindsie had just opened her shop less than a week before the hurricane hit forcing her to close down. Her area is slowly getting back to normal and she is ready to reopen!

I am so excited to be able to share this milestone with her! Heck, I haven't been an 'employee' myself in nearly 15 years. Larry says however that I am a walking OSHA violation....lol.....I better at least get employee of the month or something!

I promise I will do my best to keep up with messages and such this week!

I am taking a few days off to spend some time with my daughter Ellie and to put our toes in the sand!

If you message me, I will get back to you as soon as I return to the shop on Tuesday 😀

What a weekend.....definitely bittersweet. I rented a dumpster and we cleaned out the basement, tore out the old 'original' shop, the sheds, the attic, etc. I absolutely could not have done it without Lindsie, Michael, my sister Erin, Brian, Larry, Samuel, and the kids. This was the next necessary step to reach some of my goals that I have put off for a very long time. I am truly humbled by all the help 🙏 I definitely could not have done this alone. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders, seriously, and am excited and ready for what I have planned next ☺️

**WHERE ARE MY CAT LOVERS**

PLEASE SHARE & HELP ME FIND THESE BABIES A GOOD HOME

These three peanuts and their mama showed up under a friends deck this past weekend, so my animal loving friend took them in.

Everyone went to the to the vet to get a check up & get started on their vaccines. Babies are 7/8 weeks, and all males. Mama is about a year old. All 4 are in need of permanent, loving homes.

Mama is shy but sweet as heck & is a purr monster, and babies are getting more confident and playful every day.

Mama & baby #3 (baby needs to be re-tested around 6 months as the positive was super faint) have tested positive for FIV (kitty HIV basically) and will potentially be immunosuppressed for the rest of their lives. The vet explained that these kitties can and often do live long, wonderful lives but are more susceptible to things like upper respiratory infections. They also need homes where they are the only kitty or homes with other FIV positive kitties. They CAN NOT transfer this to humans or dogs or other animals, so if you have dogs or kids, that is totally fine. This is also not the same as feline leukemia, which is often a scary & grave diagnosis.

If you or anyone you know is seriously interested, feel free to leave a comment, message me here, or text me at 585-690-4972. I will then pass along my friends contact info.

Please share....the mamma cat was CLEARLY dumped off because of how friendly and loving she is. I know if we share, we will find these babies all loving safe homes ♥️

Guess who is back....at least for a few weeks! My Lindsie! For those that don't know, Lindsie moved south a couple of years ago to be closer to family and recently opened up her very own shop called "Fluff-it".

Unfortunately, she, her shop, and the town she lives in were affected by the last hurricane, forcing her to jump ship for a few weeks while things get cleaned up, cleared out, and she can reopen. So when she offered to come work with me in the meantime, you bet I said yes! I absolutely missed having such an awesome partner in crime and I can tell you that I am going to enjoy every minute of having her back while it lasts ❤️

I love my career, but days like today will never be easy. I found out that 2 more of my furry friends have crossed the rainbow bridge.....I lost another one last week and believe so far this year alone that makes 14 dogs....14 dogs that I loved like my own, that I have helped take care of for 13 years now. Most I watched grow up from a puppy....to me they were all still puppies.

I knew all their quirks, I knew what their favorite treats were and made sure to always have them on hand. I knew them and they definitely knew me.

My heart breaks every time I lose one and I wonder if I can go through this anymore; the truth is I can't see myself 'not' doing this work. The reward of earningtheir love and trust, their unconditional love, and the time we do get with these pure spirits known as dogs, definitely out weighs the inevitable that we all know is coming at some point.

I look forward to the day when it is my time to go because I am going to have one hell of a welcoming committee made up of all the dogs I have loved over the years waiting to greet me.

A huge thank you goes out tonight to all of your furkids "Uncle Larry". He worked his butt off to get the blue painted on the future home of PawSnickety Grooming! The porch is up next, but I am already in love with how it is turning out.....wait till everyone sees how incredible the inside is going to look!

Proud mentor moment...I absolutely had to share! I'm sure y'all remember Lindsie that mentored and worked for me for several years until she decided to move to South Carolina to be closer to her family and pursue her dream of opening her very own grooming salon. Well, the time has come and she has officially opened up Fluff-It!

Lindsie will forever be a part of my family and to say that Larry and I are proud of her is a HUGE understatement. She does beautiful work, and I have no doubt she is going to be a huge success!

Please, check out and like her page, and help me send her some love from her PawSnickety family!

Too funny not to share! A quick glimpse of playtime, luckily pre-bath with Bailey, one of my customers.....lol.

Well, Larry and I finally decided to take Polly popup camping this weekend in Letchworth. It has been pouring almost nonstop, but we are still enjoying some dog free downtime in the world's cutest camper....lol. I don't have the best signal, but as soon as I'm home on Monday I will return all the calls, texts, emails.

I have some exciting news that I have been DYING to share with everyone! My dream since PawSnickety's 1st day was to one day buy a custom built shed to run my business out of.

As you all know, sometimes life just happens and goals get pushed to the side. Over the years, my shop that started in my basement, next moved upstairs after we converted our master bedroom into the shop. Larry and I have done a total of 4 full remodels over the last 10 years in order to make my business the amazing success it is today.

This past year all of my health troubles taught me that life is too short; so what am I waiting for?! So.....today, my shed, PawSnickety's soon to be new 'home' was delivered.

Today was definitely bittersweet however. On one hand I am celebrating making this dream of mine a reality, but on the other hand I am preparing to battle for my health once again as I found out today that I am going to have to go through another round of treatments. I was really praying that I had put all of that stuff behind me once and for all, but I guess not quite yet.

I know it is going to take me a while to accomplish this remodel, but you all know I will! All I can do is take it one day at a time. One thing is for sure though.......I am looking forward to the future with hope, I am going to stay just as feisty and determined as I have always been. I am going to do my best to smile past the struggles, and count my blessings because I really do have so much to be thankful for. So for that, I just want to say thank you for all of your support and understanding when it comes to dealing with my health. Words will never be enough to express how blessed I am to have crossed paths with all of you💖
