Updated pricing information for pet sitting 2024:

Rabbits $30-$50 depending on location, number of animals.
*Most rabbit sitting done in your home.
Guinea Pigs $30-$40 depending on number of animals.
Rats $20-$30 depending on location, number of animals.
*Most rat sitting done in your home.
Hamsters, Gerbils, mice $10 - $20 depending on location/number of animals.

Accepted forms of payment Venmo and Cash. Half total price deposit due up front.

I primarily pet sit for rabbits in their home. It keeps them calm being in their home environment and is less disruptive to their daily routine.

I primarily pet sit for rats in their own homes as most rat owners have extensive and large set ups as rats need space, and I cannot accommodate that in my own home.

Each case is discussed on an individual basis. I do offer extended stay discounts.

We have a full house here! First piggy girly is Coco she's 7. The next two are Penny & Simba. Penny is her momma. Not a boy but banned simba because she's blonde so that works!
Last piggy is Buddy. He's chillin out listening to all the ladies talk back and forth.

Of course my resident rabbit's Clark & Rudy who need to explain why those poopies are outside their litter box. 🤔

This bundle of fluff is named Peanut! He's an adorable lionhead harlequin mix. He did some big time binkies earlier. He's getting a nail trim tomorrow, probably won't be happy so I'll be handy with the pumpkin banana treats!

A little special job this weekend. This is Fig! His momma's are traveling and needed an in house babysitter. While I am certainly no expert in dog behavior I do know some signs to look out for when dealing with dogs who are fearful or reactive. Fig is an absolute love. I gave him cheese and we are now besties. He is reactive to other pups and loud sounds. So we'll have some outside time on the off hours and give lots of love during my stay.

The last trio of girls that stayed with me ended up a bit eventful. Given permission to share this video and pictures of Pumpkin here.
It is essential you have an exotic savvy pet sitter. That is if it is me or someone else.
The first night pumpkin was here I thought her behavior was a little off, confirmed some behaviors with her mama.
The second night I knew something was definitely off. She was on her side not moving much or curled in like in this video. Immediately started critical care to keep her gut moving and some water to keep her hydrated. Owner was notified and emailed authorization for a vet visit. Pumpkin came home with 3 medicines. Antibiotic for what appears to be an inner ear infection, gut motility meds, and meloxicam for inflammation and pain.
Know what your pet sitter is capable of. Ask for a veterinary reference.
Pumpkin went home still on medicines but doing way better and was getting back to her chatty self!

Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester is having a clear the shelter day. Pets will be free for adoption including many guinea pigs and bunnies. Do your research before adoption!

We have many guinea pigs, mice, rats, cats, dogs, and other animals looking for homes. All animals, with the exception of our farmyard friends, can go home for free tomorrow.

When you adopt, you are making room for us to welcome new homeless animals into the shelter who need our help. We couldn't save as many lives without our amazing community's support!

As always, no animal will go home without the potential adopter meeting with one of our experienced adoption counselors. They make sure that the animal is set up for success in their new home. 🥰
