Dr. Sorlie and her two patients Coco and Peanut, who are sporting their Christmas best 🎄

Peanut (right) was diagnosed with substantial degenerative valve disease and congestive heart failure in April 2023. Due to the dedicated care of his owner and the support of Dr. Sorlie, he’s stable and was able to enjoy Christmas with his family, including his son Coco (left), again this year!

Lacey’s Story ❤️

On November 11, 2024 Lacey suffered from acute, life threatening anaphylactic shock. Dr. Katie Stayton and the team immediately began emergency treatment in an attempt to stabilize her. Lacey’s case was extremely complex and we weren’t sure if she was going to pull through.

90 minutes later after intensive treatments, Lacey was deemed stable enough to transfer to Orchard Park for overnight care. By the next morning Lacey’s clinical signs had resolved and she was back to her happy sweet self.

Lacey’s case is not very common but without the high level of care provided by Dr. Stayton and her team, Lacey would have died. Thanks to them this 1 year old puppy is now able to spend the holidays with her brother, Bug and her family!

We love you Lacey and we are so thankful that you are happy and healthy ❤️
