Meet miss Shayna!
This sweet girl was found on a property where she did not belong. She was very scared, cold and hungry. A kind Samaritan reached out on her behalf and we were able to get her to us here at PCHS.

Shayna spent several weeks getting some much needed TLC. She enjoys cuddling up on cozy beds, spending time with people, and having a tasty treat! Shayna is a large girl and is nearing 70 pounds. She is estimated to be a mixed breed girl and is thought to be around 3 years old. She would thrive in a home that has time to show her structure, consistency and unwavering love. This is Max and Lil’Bit off to do their TV spot this morning as Pet of the Week on KTTC. Little do they know this could be their big break, a life-changing opportunity.  Fingers crossed as they’re 
bonded, looking for a home together.  Little Bit is more dependent on Max and the shyer of the two, nonetheless they are an absolute darling couple and sure to make somebody very happy for many years to come. We’ll post the video link when it’s available.

Introducing the cutest lab puppies you've ever seen! Along with their mother Delta , Meet Sunny, Star and Jewel!

These three young ladies came to PCHS along with their mom, Momma Delta, after they were rescued from a bad situation. These pups are about 5.5 months old and have a whole lot of living to do! They are purebred yellow labs and take after their momma with very sweet dispositions.

Like all puppies, these girls will thrive in a home that can provide them structure, consistency, and a whole lot of love. In their short life they have seen far too much cruelty and uncertainty. We are here to ensure they never have to experience these things again. If one of these sweet little ladies seems like they would be a good fit for you, apply online today! Hey there! Introducing Tank!
Tank came to us after from a valued rescue partner after his time in impound was up. While we do not know a lot about his back story, we do know that he is a young boy who has a contagious enthusiasm for life! It is hard to not smile when you are around Tank as he can brighten even the gloomiest of days with his silly antics and loving personality.

Tank is a playful and energetic boy who would love a home where he can play with toys, go for walks, and maybe even wrestle with a canine friend. Tank is a big boy and may be a little too much for smaller kids - especially since he thinks he is a lap dog!

Check this gorgeous boy out! Meet Owen!
This stunning Blue-Eyed Beauty came to PCHS from an impound in the Otter Lake area. He had been found as a stray and unfortunately no one ever came to claim him. So, he then made his way to us in hopes of finding a new forever home.

Owen is fairly young and is estimated to be some sort of husky mix. He is social with other dogs and enjoys playing with others. He will go in his kennel here but it is not his favorite place to be. He is a lower to medium energy dog and would be great for walking/hiking or cuddling up on the couch with you to watch a holiday movie!

Meet Honey Bee!
This girl is as sweet as she looks! Honey came to us from an impound when there were too many dogs and they needed somewhere to go. Honey is very emaciated and nervous upon arrival. She has been working hard gaining weight and being treated for some tick borne diseases.

Honey Bee appears like she has lived in a kennel or small space for most of her life as she tends to pace or "circle" when she is confined or when she is particularly nervous. However, with time and consistency, this behavior has been decreasing day by day. Honey's new family will have to continue providing high calorie food until she is at a more stable weight. She came in at 32 pounds and should likely be closer to 42-44 pounds.

Honey Bee is estimated to be about 5 years old and looks to be a lab mix of some sort. Honey Bee is looking for a home where her family can provide her with the time and patience she needs to decompress into a new home. Do you think that could be you? Apply online today!

Meet sweet Eve!
Eve came to PCHS from a valued rescue partner when she was found roaming as a stray with a small group of other dogs. She went through her stray hold and was then brought to us to look for a new home. She is a young girl, estimated to be around 1 and a half years old. She is thought to be some sort of cattle dog mix, but we really aren't quite sure.

Upon first arriving to rescue, Eve was on the timid side and didn't know if she trusted people. However, she very quickly learned that she loves getting attention from people and wants to be a velcro dog! Eve is not a very energetic dog so she would prefer a home where she can hang out with her people, go on leisurely walks, and spend time cuddling on a bed.

She does well with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion in her new home. Given her disposition, it is believed she could do well with cats as well. If Eve sounds like the perfect match for you, apply online today!

Meet the "O" puppies! This group of 7 pups (4 boys and 3 girls) are ready to start looking for their new homes!

These puppies came to us after being found in a container in a ditch a few weeks back. They were on the thin side and covered in ringworm. They also had some intestinal parasites that needed to be treated.

After some much needed dewormer, tasty food and antifungal medication, these pups are looking and feeling so much better! They are estimated to be almost 3 months old and they will be large dogs, likely over 70 pounds when fully grown! We do not know what kind they are, but they appear to be some sort of large lab mix.

Like all puppies, these guys would benefit from some basic training and obedience to help them be the best canine citizens they can be! They would do well with another canine friend to play with in their forever home, and would likely do well with an active family with or without kids. If one of these adorable puppies seems like they could be a match for you, apply online today!

This handsome, inquisitive young man is Carter. Carter is estimated to be 4-5 months old and is an Aussie mix. He was found out on his own and never claimed. Carter is a smart dog and full of life. He is also rather affectionate and gives plenty of kisses! As a working breed, Carter would do well with formal training and plenty of physical and mental stimulation. He wouldn’t mind a canine sibling, either. Cats are unknown.
