Doorbell Vet will be closed tomorrow, November 28th, for the holiday. We’ll be open 9-5 Friday.

If you find yourself in need of urgent or emergent veterinary care, Rochester Emergency Veterinary Services will be open 24 hours on both Thanksgiving and Black Friday. They are currently still located at 1150 University Ave.

If you choose to make or buy a costume for your pet, be sure it is comfortable and non-restrictive, along with monitoring them closely during use
Chocolate and most candies are TOXIC to pets. Do not allow access to candy and wrappers!
Cats that go outside should be kept indoors for their own safety on Halloween
Pets should be contained in a room, crate, or carrier to avoid escaping and other problematic behaviors related to ringing doorbells, opening of doors, and strangers approaching the home
Some pets may require medical intervention to manage the stress of the holiday. Reach out to your veterinarian to see if this may be an option for your pet.
Candles and Jack-O-Lanterns pose a fire risk regardless of whether you have a pet, consider battery operated lights as an alternative
