Hello friends!
We’ve had a lot of inquiries and new clients coming our way for pet grooming lately so we thought we might be able to answer some frequently asked questions on here. This way you can better decide if your pup or cat would be a good fit for us.
1. We are temporarily unable to accommodate large breed pets over 50lbs who require full body haircuts. We are able to groom large breed dogs that need minimal trimming around the feet, butt etc like golden retrievers, aussies for example. We have openings for any “bath” dogs who only need brush , bath, blow dry and nail trims.
2. We offer a cage free environment. This is not for everyone. We will ask you, the parents your preference whether you want them to socialize or not. We appreciate your honesty and being upfront about your pups behavior. We will monitor your dog’s body language and comfort level to decide if he/she wants their own space or would like to play with friends.
3. We can accommodate dog aggressive, reactive or fearful dogs. Our quiet room was built with these pups in mind. For an extra fee we can set you up with one on one grooming away from the sights and sounds of other dogs. Please specify this when you book your appointment. The quiet room is also where we groom our cats.
4. Because we keep a cage free environment, unfortunately most unnuetered males will not be a good candidate for socializing, and also there is an additional charge for grooming.
5. The price that is quoted is just that, a quote. Prices are dependent on the condition of the coat, behavior, size and degree of difficulty. There is an additional charge if we find fleas or any other parasites on your pup.
6. For new clients, we require a $25 deposit before booking the appointment which will be deducted from your groom price.
7. We require a 24 hour notice for cancellations otherwise there will be a $25 fee.
8. Please be on time with your pup. Our girls typically take one dog at a time and can only allow a 15 minute grace period to allow ample time to work on each of our guests and stay on schedule.
9. All of our pet stylists have grooming and pet cpr certification with at least 2 years experience.
10. This season’s Spa treatment is the “Pupkin Spice” a shampoo and conditioning treatment with the festive pumpkin spice scent of the season. Let your stylist know if you would like to add this on. $8 for small, $12 for large dogs.
Thank you so much for your inquiries and the opportunity to work with your pets!
